{Gray's POV}

I was looking for Juvia, hoping she wouldn't see me, just so I could see her.

You mean you wanted to stalk her?

     ... No... Maybe... Yes...

Anyways, I was walking near the harbor when I saw her. She was now sitting on a bench. I hid behind a tree behind her.

     You stalker Gray, geesh.

I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR OPINION! Anyways, she started to cry... and I wanted more than anything to go up to her and comfort her, but found that I couldn't, for some odd reason.

     Maybe because you're a tsu--

     I just watched her, weeping.

     Hey I wasn't finis--

Her bright blooming beautiful face had turned to a withering aged and tired face, in a matter of seconds. This was all my fault. Lyon, my brother, was dead because of me. As annoying as he was, I always had a soft spot in my heart for him. He shared my pain and my past. He was like a brother... and now I'd never see him again. I also wanted to be near Juvia for this reason. She could make it all better...

Suddenly a beast jumped out of the water. A mutant. A half man... half shark. The mutant who almost killed me. I stood there shocked, frozen in fear. It sprang out of the water and onto the harbor, right in front of Juvia. It stared at her and tilted its head, smiling with its jagged teeth.

     "Found you," it said eerily.

Then just as it was about to swallow her whole, Juvia screamed. This knocked me out of my trance as I made an ice make cannon and stuck it in the shark's mouth.

"Eat this!" I bellowed as I pulled the trigger of the cannon and the shark man's insides were destroyed. The shark man fell down. I held the cannon, and it melted into water before I knew it. Impossible! Why would it melt like that?! Then I remembered what Ur had said once...

"Master Ur? Why do I have to learn stupid ice magic! The ice make, it's just going to melt anyways!" child me shouted.

"Ice Magic, can be as strong as you want it to be Gray. Your ice is as strong as you. It's very hard to melt, unless there is some sort of fire mage, but even then it's not an easy task! Never doubt your ice Gray. The only reason it would ever melt is if you are losing your magic," Ur said...

Was I losing my magic? I had to ask Levy about this... but I couldn't let Juvia know, she would just worry about me. My thoughts were interrupted by the shark man. He was... transforming?! The beast turned into the man, the one we saw at the beach 8 weeks ago with his adorable little daughter...

A couple minutes later, the police and news reporters had arrived at the scene. They were doing what they usually do. Police investigating, news reporting, but my attention was caught by a little girl, screaming, because a man would not let go of her hand. It was the girl from the beach.

Juvia and I walked over there.

"Is there a problem here?" I asked.

"No, just that this girl is refusing to come to the orphanage with me! I was sent to pick her up," the man explained.
