"So that's it?" Niall questioned "No more Mr Crazy following you around all of the time" he said
"That's it" Louis declared, slamming closed his locker before turning back around to face Niall
Niall smiled widely at this "At last!" He exclaimed "What made him finally leave?"
"I told him to" Louis replied
"And he listened?" Niall quizzed
Louis shrugged at this "He had to" he replied "I made it clear this time"
Niall hummed in reply "Weird" he said with a slight shrug, hitching the backpack on his shoulder
Louis didn't reply, glancing over his shoulder in a self conscious way. He hadn't seen Harry, not since that day. It was both relieving and upsetting, and he had no idea why the latter was affecting him so much. He felt bad in a way, though he knew that it had to be done
"What's up?" Niall questioned "Why are you acting so weird?" He quizzed
"M'not acting weird" Louis replied, still looking at his surroundings in a paranoid way
"Louis" Niall said firmly, his tone scolding "I've known you forever, you're being weird" he stated "Is this about Harry?" He asked
Louis shifted around uncomfortably at this and Niall's jaw dropped
"It is about Harry, isn't it!" He exclaimed
"I-is there something wrong with me?" Louis questioned seriously, looking at Niall with wide eyes "It's like I can't stop thinking about him, he's just on my mind all of the time"
"It's just because you're so used to him following you around" Niall replied, shaking his head and letting out a huff of annoyance "He's been stalking you since you guys were toddlers"
"And all I've ever wanted was for him to stop" Louis stated "Ever since we started primary school I've wanted him to stop" he ranted "And now that he finally has, all I'm doing is thinking about him"
"Louis, you're just going to feel weird for a while" Niall promised "It's only because you're not used to the freedom"
"B-but I kind of miss him..." Louis trailed off in embarrassment "What the hell is wrong with me?" He spluttered
"Maybe you just miss the attention that he gave you" Niall replied with a shrug "You probably don't miss him"
"You think so?" Louis quizzed "I-I just like the attention?" He asked, scrunching his nose slightly in confusion "M'not an attention whore or anything, right?"
Niall snorted at this, offering Louis an amused grin "Of course you're not" he promised "But you're probably a little lonely since Harry's stopped speaking to you"
"Right" Louis mumbled in agreement "I have know him my whole life" he added
"What you need, is a boyfriend" Niall announced "And fast"
Louis scoffed at this, rolling his eyes at Niall "Who would want to date me?" He questioned
"Apart from the entire school?" Niall mused
