"All I'm saying is that-"
"Enough, Niall!" Louis exclaimed, turning to face the blonde boy "All you've ever wanted was for Harry to stop being so mean to me and for me to get a real boyfriend" he pointed out angrily "And now that I've done that you're complaining" he stated "What's wrong with you?"
Niall shrugged "I don't like Jack" he admitted "And Harry's-" he cut himself off
"Harry's what?" Louis quizzed
"Harry's upset about it" Niall answered
Louis scoffed "Harry can't be that upset, seen as he was all set to go on a date yesterday" he replied
Niall frowned, knowing exactly how that date had come in to play "But he didn't" he said
"So?" Louis questioned "He'll probably make up for it, trust me" he said "I know him"
Niall sighed "You never listen" he muttered
Louis squinted at him "Because you're always changing your mind!" He snapped "You begged me to get Harry out of my life"
"He's not out of your life, though" Niall pointed out "You're torturing him!" He exclaimed
"How?" Louis cried out
Niall huffed "Christ, Louis, can't you fucking see that he's head over heels for you?"
Louis swallowed, shaking his head "No, I can't" he stated "If he was then he'd tell me so"
Niall scoffed loudly "No he wouldn't" he argued "He's far too proud"
Louis squinted at him "You're ridiculous" he replied easily "It's just a stupid crush, if that" he corrected "You can't convince me otherwise"
"Even though he gave up his date to literally walk the same route home with you?" Niall quizzed
Louis sighed loudly "Are you forgetting that he literally used to tease me until I cried?" He shot back
Niall shrugged "You were just kids then" he defended
Louis scoffed in reply, folding his arms across his chest "He made me cry last year!" He stated
"Hate to say it, buddy, but you're kind of sensitive" Niall replied, elbowing him playfully
Louis glared at him "I'm not!" He argued
Niall grinned "Yes you are" he confirmed "Which is why you're so attached to Jack already"
"You're dating Jack?" A voice piped up
Niall sighed in relief "Oh, thank god, Francis!" He exclaimed happily "Please talk some sense into him"
Francis pulled a face, eyeing Louis in confusion "I thought you dumped Jack" he admitted
Louis shrugged uncomfortably "I took him back" he replied, squirming under the gaze of both Francis and Niall
"Why?" Francis quizzed
"Uh, because he asked nicely?" Louis replied, the uncertainty evident in his voice
Francis rolled his eyes "He doesn't deserve you" he said softly
