Chapter Seven

"I'm sorry to hear that. It must be hard for you lately." I apologized.

"That's fine. There's nothing time can't heal." He said.

I really like Edward's optimism. He looks fine and happy but he's just the same like me, wrecked. Though the weight is heavier for Edward because he was cheated. How can someone cheat on someone who's loyal, sweet, and demigod handsome? If you get to know Edward better, what more can you ask for. I just wish karma is hunting Abby now.

"How about you? How many boyfriends did you had before Glenn?" He asked.

"Technically speaking I never had a boyfriend. But if you want to consider my complicated relationship with Glenn, then I only had one." I said.

"Glenn and I started out as best friends. We got close when his best friend Russ which also came from the same school started dating Charlotte. So Glenn is the sidekick of Russ and I am the sidekick of Charlotte. Until Glenn and I became text mates and he started calling me, until we started to go out on our own. We've been friends for 1 year already until he asked me if I have feelings for him and I said yes, and he also did. But when I asked if are we boyfriends he told me that, "it's not about how we label ourselves, it's about how we feel for each other." I said.

"So you're not officially boyfriend and boyfriend but you're acting like one?" Edward asked.

"Yeah... Complicated right? So after that, we barely talk to each other around campus. He asked me if we can hide in public, and I agreed. We just make eye contacts before but when we're dismissed he goes straight to my house and most of the times he arrives at my house first because I still go to the tutorial center after school." I explained.

"So your Mom knows about Glenn?" Edward asked.

"Yes! Glenn and Mom knows each other and Mom likes Glenn though I think she doesn't know we have something. But I know she knows it." I said.

"So when did the nightmare happened?" Edward asked.

"Glenn visits his father and brother in Japan every school break. So last vacation he went there and he promised me he will always chat, call or text me. At first we always talk to each other but as time goes by he stopped. And when he got back here, he told me that he wanted me to move on because he was scared that if he liked someone in college he might not control it and he might break my heart. The end!" I said.

"Ooohh... At least until the end all he thought about was you." Edward said.

For a while I got mind blocked and I don't know what to say.

"Hey! Forget about him. Remember, there's nothing time can't heal. Cheer up!" He tapped my chin.

"Okay fine. Whatever." I replied.

"C'mon! I know what to do." He stood up and pulled me.

I wondered if he's good with this sports as we enter the Bowling Center. He told me to wait at the couch and he'll get 2 pairs of bowling shoes. He never told me he can play bowling. I always wanted to try this sport but I never had a chance because none of my friends in high school was interested.

"Here you go!" He handed me the shoes.

"You know how to play bowling?" I asked.

"Yeah. My father always brings me in the Bowling Center back home. I liked this sport but I never tried to play for a team I just like it as a hobby." He said.

"I always wanted to try this! Thank you for bringing me here!"

We rushed in our bowling lane and he started tapping at the screen beside the couch. When I looked above there's a flat screen there's a score board with both our names on it. He took the bowling ball and passed it on my hands.
