Chapter Six

Rrriiinnngg... Rrriinnnggg... Rrriiinnnggg...

I almost destroyed the alarm clock on my drawer for ruining my morning. I slowly stretched my arms and back like a cat and groaned to the sunlight invading my vision. I quickly get up when I accidentally pushed my guitar off the bed while stretching. I must have fallen asleep while practicing the chords for my audition piece.

I pulled the charger off my phone and started reading messages.

Edward Wong: Rise and shine! Two of our professors e-mailed, they said they won't be there in class but they'll send us homework in our mails. So that means we don't have classes after lunch! Let's go to the mall! Please? You can ask Amber and Anne if they want to come.

I pressed reply. Okay sure! I'll ask them later. I put my phone inside my bag so I can start preparing for school.

On my way to the train I saw a familiar hair in front of the ticket booth, it was waxed up like a One Direction member and it was neat. When he turned around I quickly recognized him, it was Nathan. When he saw me, he approached me with a big smile.

"Hey Ian! You also ride in this station?"

"Yes! Do you also live in Greyson Town?"

"Yeah! Near the grocery."

"Wow. I live in an apartment near the station." I replied.

"Good for you! I have to walk 3 blocks just to get here." He said.

"So why haven't I seen you around before?"

"We just moved in so I'll be closer to the school."

He is also the same as Edward, they are both under the scholarship program. He was also a basketball varsity in his high school. His parents are very supportive of him, his dad left his job in their old town just to transfer in Greyson Town, luckily his dad was able to find a new job in the city. His mom just stays at home to take care of his 3 year old sister.

He has a girlfriend left in their hometown. He was in senior and Alexis was a junior when they started dating. He's really proud of her girlfriend, he said she's a captain of the cheerleading squad in their school, Woohoo... Here we go... Okay... Give me an A... He said they are trying to keep up everyday with long distance relationship but he also said it's getting harder and harder every day.

When we arrived at the school we saw Edward standing at the gate. He looks like he's waiting for someone. Nathan and I were just walking and chatting and taking our time. When Edward looked up at us and he looks pretty serious. He approached us as if there's a fight and he pulled my wrist.

"Whoa! Good morning Grumpy!" I said.

"Hey Edward..." Nathan greeted sounding awkward.

"I was waiting for you for like 30 minutes already!" He said to me.

"Who said there was a call time?" I replied.

"Okay guys, I think I need to get going." Nathan butted in.

"Yeah, maybe you should." Edward said to Nathan.

"What is wrong with you? Is it the first day of your red week???"

"I was texting you and calling you like it's the last day of earth and I didn't got any reply."

I checked my phone and it was on silent. Ugh! I have forgotten to switch it back when I woke up.
