There was once a time where every state in America gushed over their star gymnasts, whom proudly came home with medals and trophies, showing off their achievements to the rest of the country.
Then, there was a time when those star gymnasts became a blur in everyone's minds. Whether the cause be because of a scandal, an injury, retirement or just quitting it all, the stars were forgotten, their once bright shine, diminishing.
That is why we, USAG, are proud to announce the 2016 Gymnastics National Championships for the lost and forgotten, which will be held in Chicago.
4 contestants from each state have been selected to compete, giving them all a second chance to potentially be the stars they all once were.
The competition will consist of four rounds, each round eliminating one member from each state, until we get to the final round.
