Leaving for Good

I look in their direction after hearing the utensils fall and I was surprised to see Suna with them looking at me. Mom, Dad, and Jongjin are looking at her too.

"Yoon Suna?" I utter.

"I made a farewell dinner for her. Today was her last day in the store." Mom said.

"Hyung, have a seat and eat with us," Jongjin said. I sat in front of Suna. She's looking at her meal, ignoring my eyes.

"This is the first time you said that you like your date," Dad said. Everyone continues eating and so does Suna. "So when did you decide to meet again?"

I wasn't listening to Dad as my eyes are still focused on Suna.

"Uhm... Let's just finish eating first so Suna-ssi won't go home late." Mom said. "Jongjin, you send her home okay?"

"Yes, Eomma," Jongjin answered.

"I'll take her home," I said cutting to their conversation. Suna looked at me and our eyes met.

"But you just came. Don't you want to take a rest now?" Dad asked curiously.

"I will do that after sending her home," I answered.

After dinner, Suna bid farewell to my parents as I waited for her inside the car. As I drive her home the car is filled with silence. We reached her house so I stop the engine.

"Thank you for the ride." She said. "Uhm... I-I hope you will be happy with her."

I look at her but she was looking away.

"Yoon Suna..." I utter that stops her from moving out of the car.

"I feel so sorry for everything." She said without looking at me. "Be well."

That's it!

Those are the exact words she to me said 9 months ago and now she says that again to leave me behind. She went out of the car and walk away. If I let her go again I will never know how she truly felt for me. I quickly get off my car and ran to her. I grab her hand to stop her and turn her around to face me. Then I saw her eyes filled with tears. It broke my heart.

"Suna..." I murmur.

"Jongwoon-ssi... Please... I don't want to hurt you again..."

"You're leaving me again?"

"We can't be with each other and you know that..."

I move my hand away from her. Then she raises her right hand and touches my face. That's when I realized that tears are in my eyes. She wiped them for me and turn around. As she walk away my feet move forward I walk to her and hugged her from the back that stopping her from walking.

"Please... Don't leave me again.." I sob as I hugged her tight.

She touched my hands and gently remove them.

"Forget about me." She said.

I woke up to the loud sound of my phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hyung, Where have you been last night?"

It was Ryeowook on the other line.

"My parent's house."

"You got yourself drunk again?! How long will you stay like that?"

I couldn't answer him. It's been 3 months since Suna leave our store and I don't have any news about her. She's not answering my calls and texts. The last thing I heard is she left her apartment and went somewhere far.
