Chapter 6- Mary Flo

Jason 

Once again I stepped out of Jessica's house and went back home. It wasn't too bad of a visit but it was kinda awkward in my case. I stepped into our LA house and I found nerf guns and bullets on the floor. Mitch and Ian were goofing around with them. I hung my coat and picked up the bullets.  

"Whoa guys, what are you doing?" I asked Mitch, Ian, and Quentein. They quickly noticed me. 

"Mmm nerf gunning," Mitch responded shooting. 

" Oh," I responded unamused. I walked to my room and found a picture of Jessica on the floor. I shrugged at the sight of it and started to record a Minecraft video. Mitch and Ian's voices echoed in the background.  

"What's up stars? This is Jason," I said as I started my recording. Pow! A bullet hit my head. "Dammit Mitch!" I yelled as he came to my room. He gave a short chuckle.  

"Haha, sorry," He apologized happily. I rolled my eyes and closed the door again.  

"Sorry guys," I apologized in my recording. "Some people just had a bullet to my head," I exaggerated so they could hear.  

"Yeah dood!" Ian replied.  

I turned back towards the computer and continued the gameplay.  

"Dood! Who's the girl in the pic in Jason's room?" I heard Ian ask through the door. I paused my recording for a second.  

"His girlfriend. I got to admit she's kinda cute," I heard Mitch respond. I had a questioned and angry look on my face. He can't have Jessica.  

"You're not gonna try and take her are you?" Ian asked. 

"No I'm just stating it Ian," Mitch stated. Their voices got softer and I couldn't hear them anymore. I couldn't believe Mitch but whatever. But Jessica... I love her. 

Jessica 

Another day, another trip. I got a text from an unknown number. It was surprisingly Mitch. He was asking if I could come over their LA house and you can expect, I accepted their request. But I was stuck with Maya at a candy shop for a little while. But why Mitch? Jason could of done it but what ever.  

"Jess! Buy me a starburst!" Maya begged. I rolled my eyes and handed the cashier a buck. Then I handed Maya a starburst. "Yay!" Maya said jumping up and down. I waited a minute so she could finish her starburst and motioned for her to go.  

"We don't have much time before mom comes home. So it's best we go home now," I stated. She crossed her arms but followed me out the door. We started walking back home. I could see our mom's car in the distance behind us. I had an idea of getting out of taking care of my sister, but it was kind of dangerous considering she's a child. Nah, I changed my mind. 

"We should hurry up," I suggested. We were only halfway across the street.  

"It's called taking your time, Jess. We have lots of time," Maya announced. You wouldn't believe how hard i'd face palm to that. All I could see now was Maya skipping down the street and I was like, twenty feet away. Young ones...  

A car pulled up beside me.My mom appeared in the front seat of the car. 

"Where's Maya?" She asked. I pointed to a small figure ahead of us. Mom nodded. I hopped in, picked up Maya, and drove home. I quickly got dressed and headed out to meet the "crew," team,crew, whatever they are. 

Another day at the team crafted house. I wonder how it'll be this time. I was on the porch of their house, afraid what to do if they answered. I took a deep breath, and knocked on the door. There was silence for a few seconds, then I heard footsteps heading towards the door. I quickly straightened myself up.
