Chapter 24- The Fight

-Mitchell-

Jason walked right past me and went up to Chris. I could see the anger in his eyes. Punch! He punched his jaw and he fell onto the floor. I gasped and my mouth fell open in shock.

"What the hell, Jason?!" Chris screamed.

"You kissed Jessica!" Jason shouted back.

"He did what?!" I say as my eyes widen. I immediately felt anger flood my veins.

"I kissed her, alright! How is that such a problem?" Chris answered.

"You fucking kissed my girlfriend!" I shout.

"You mean my girlfriend?" Jason asked.

"Your ex-girlfriend, dumbass!" His fist then connected with my jaw and I tasted the blood pouring from my mouth.

Everything went black.

-Jessica-

I felt really guilty about the kiss. What will Mitch think? What about Jason?

All these anxieties flooded my brain as I entered the living room. I heard shouting coming from upstairs followed by a huge THUD! I sprinted up the stairs and gasped at what I saw.

Mitch was unconscious and his mouth was red with blood. Jason was standing in the middle of it all with his fist raised.

"Jason?" I said confusedly.

"Jess, I-I'm sorry." He stuttered. I knelt down next to Mitch and cried softly. "Why?"

"Chris...kissed you, didn't he?"

"Yes, but I-"

"Save it, Jess. I don't know if you know this or not, but I still love you and I would never do anything to hurt you."

"So instead you hurt my boyfriend?!" I say slightly louder.

"I'm sorry, Jess. I couldn't-"

"No, Jason! Make yourself useful and call an ambulance." He nods and picks up the phone.

Don't worry, Mitch, you'll be okay.

-1 hour later-

Mitch was currently being examined by the doctors. I was sitting in the waiting room, twiddling my thumbs.

Nervousness racked up in my body. I hope Mitch and Chris are okay...
