-Jessica-
Ring! Ring! Ring! My alarm clock went off. I turned it off and realized where I was. I was in Florida,my new home. All I could think of is how I left them and how much I miss Mitch and Jason, Mitch mostly. Just the thought of him makes me just want him to hug me right now. No Jess, boyfriend later, life now.
I got out of bed- or at least tried to get out- and went on my way. To school, the best place on earth (take note of the sarcasm). Everyday before school, we have to wait in the cafeteria before we go to our lockers. I hope at least someone's waiting for me there.
I got dressed and put on the necklace Mitch gave me. I was pretty beautiful. And Jason, I haven't seen him in so long, even though he isn't my boyfriend, he's a close friend. My mom drove me to school and I walked into the cafeteria. I was greeted by a salvo of voices. I scanned the crowd to see which table I could sit down at.
"Jessica! Over here!" I heard a boy's voice. I looked at the table farthest to the stage and saw a bunch of boys waving their arms in the air. I figured they were just playing around.
"Jess! This table!" I heard a girl's voice this time. I looked away and saw Alyssa and Katherine. I walked over there shyly. "Hey TC buddy!" Katherine shouted. I didn't want anybody else to know my secret.
"Katherine, can you not talk about TC or my secret to anybody?" I asked.
"It's a secret?"
"Yes. I don't want to become famous."
"How does someone not want to become famous?" Alyssa asked.
"I just don't." They both slumped in their seats.
"I just don't," I heard one of them murmur. RRing! The bell rang. Everyone got up from their seats and rushed out the door to their lockers. I went to my locker and opened it.
The pictures, the memories, I'm homesick. I wanna be with them. I took the picture of Mitch and put it in my pocket.
"Let's go to class," Alyssa commanded me while interrupting my thoughts. I could tell she knew I felt.
"I know it's hard. You'll see them again. Just stay positive."
"I can't let the memories go," I stated. Katherine tagged along as we walked to Mr. Rubino's class.
"Try. You'll get used to this place," Katherine reassured.
"Thanks." We all went to class and sat down. I took the picture out and gazed at it. Mitch and Team Crafted and Chloe.
