Chapter 12- Minecon Maddness

My eyes flew open but everything looked a lot darker, like I was in a dream. Jason was staring at the mini tv in front of him. But he wasn't blinking. I poked him and he didn't budge. I looked at Mitch and Jerome in the seats across us. They were solid as a rock too. I stood up and took a look around us. No one moved a muscle. What was I suppose to do? I looked !outside. The plane was completely stopped, mid-air. Time stopped, except for me.

I walked up to Mitch sitting there cutely, in the middle of a laugh. Jerome was in the middle of patting him on the back. I saw Ian and Quentin laughing together and Chloe, Adam, and Deadlox sitting together. I went up to the pilot's room where him too, was frozen solid.

Suddenly, a black ghost-like hand almost slapped me in the face.

"Aaaahhhh!!!" I screamed as it showed it's face. I ran towards the back of the plane. I could hear the ghost's disgusting scream behind me as I ran. I reached the end of the plane, the ghost hovering over me. It had a knife in its hand, ready to rip me to pieces.

"Jessica! Wake up!" I heard Jason yell. I thought he was frozen... "Jess Wake up!" My eyes flew open, the world seemed more realistic this time.

"What happened?" I asked Jason. His hands were on my shoulders. He was probably shaking me.

"You were tossing and turning in your seat. I figured you were dreaming," He stated. I sighed. The plane was still in the air, but it was daytime now. We were probably closer to Florida now where Mincon was. I relaxed in my seat. The plane was totally silent and felt like an awkward atmosphere. Jason was on twitter, tweeting about the flight. Chloe was fast asleep. Everyone on the plane looked normal and...moving. All I could think of doing was staring out the window.

The plane started to glide down to the ground. When it finally stopped, we all stretched and quickly got off the plane.

Then we took separate taxies to a resort,"Florida Breeze." Adam,Jason,and I took one taxi and the rest took another. We all piled into the taxi and I ended up being squished to the side of the door. I got used to the atmosphere after a few minutes into the ride.

"Are you still upset about the thing?"Jason asked. I shrugged. "Can we start again?" Jason whispered this time. Adam didn't seem to notice Jason's whisper. I raised an eyebrow. "I mean start over?" I'm surprised I wasn't the one saying that. There was a very brief silence. I couldn't seem to collect my thoughts.

"And Mary?" I asked. I could tell Adam was starting to eavesdrop.

"I'm not dating her," Jason said.His voice sounding a little firmer. I shyly nodded.

"We can," I replied quietly. The cab made a sudden stop at the drop-off of the resort. The others already made reservations for our stay. In the same place, I could get used to it. We all settled down in our rooms. Casually, I plopped on my bed with headphones and my iPhone. Chloe laid down beside me, mimicking what I was doing.

"Once-in-a-lifetime chance. It's not everyday we get to be somewhere with TC, " She exclaimed. I started to take my headphones off.

"You said that from the beginning Chloe. I still can't believe you're right since then," I admitted. She deviously smiled.

"Told ya!"

"Yup." Chloe looked up at the guys. They were shuffling around getting their stuff together. "Minecon is just in a few hours. Isn't Adam gonna sing?" I asked. Chloe's eyes widened and her jaw dropped in relization.

"I totally forgot about that!Brb for now," She exclaimed and left me alone. Finally, I decided to get my lazy butt off the bed and pick out an outfit for tonight. I'm not expecting anything crazy for tonight...

Later...

"Team Crafted!Team Crafted!" The bunches of screams filled the area. Those were the same exact screams that started it all, the ones that reminded me of that day. Most of the guys were backstage, watching the "scene on stage. Sky was getting prepared to go on stage. Chloe and I were backstage too.

"Good Luck Adam!" Chloe called.

"Thanks! You know I heard you could sing too,"Adam stated. Chloe looked at me, her face lightened up. "I'll tell the others you're singing."

"She can," I stated and I nudged her towards Adam. She was totally shocked. "Now it's my turn to push you."

"Yeah," Chloe replied. She stood next to Adam in the wings.

"Give a big hand to Skydoesminecraft and Chloe Sandler!" The announcer called. The crowd gave a big roar as I saw Adam and Chloe walk on stage. The music abruptly started and I swayed in tune.

"First I opened my eyes, Then I felt such a strange breeze, I traveled to a world made of blocks, totally unbeknownst to me," Adam sang. I got to admit he's an excellent singer.

"When you play mine,mine,minecraft," Chloe and Adam sang together. Chloe wasn't that bad as well. I started recording their performance on my iPhone and the audience was apparently doing the same thing. Mitch came up to my side.

"Chloe's a pretty good singer," He stated. I nodded in agreement.

"This is the second time I heard her sing. I can't believe she's actually singing on stage," I stated.

"Mine,mine,minecraft. Oooh ooh oh oh ooh ooh uh oh," Adam and Chloe sang. The audience cheered and clapped so loudly like a lion's roar. Adam and Chloe went to us.

"That was amazing!" Chloe exclaimed. "I was so nervous though."

"Yeah me too," Adam added. "First performances are always nerve-wrecking."

"Otherwise, you guys did spectacular!" Mitch called. We all headed to the Minecon lobby where we were greeted by thousands of fans wanting Adam and Mitch's signatures and selfies with them. Chloe and I were just waiting for them. Finally, we headed where the rest were. They congratulated Adam and Chloe for their performance and we went to watch the rest of the Minecon show.

"Maybe you and Mitch can perform something at Minecon next year," Chloe suggested. I shrugged.

"We really can't do much so yeah maybe," I replied. She nudged me and revealed a pair of earrings in her hand. They were turquoise with real diamonds on them. My eyes widened in shock.

"Thank you Chloe so much! I've always wanted these!" I exclaimed jumping up and down and hugged her.

"Early birthday present." I looked at her in confusion. "You're birthday's in two days silly!" Chloe joked.

"Oh yeah!" I said idiotically. (Awkward)

"And Jason..." There was a long pause.

"We'll just see what's in store for us," I replied and we watched the rest of the show. I looked behind us and saw Jason heading straight towards us.

"Hey Jason!" I called but he walked right pass us and he headed towards the stage.

"What is Jason doing?" Adam asked...
