Chapter 19- TC Troubles

All I could do was pace myself. Pace myself because of Jessica. The whole team has been asking me day by day where she was. Yeah, I agree too that she's been "sick" for too long. But I have no other excuse. Should I really tell everyone the truth? I have no idea. It also seems like Mitch is starting to like me. He's looking out for me more and touching me sometimes (Not like that you dirty-minded person). If I could say something to him right now I'd be like, "Dood, I got my own boyfriend and you got your own girlfriend so back off." I feel like that sounded a bit harsh. Adam and I have been pretty well too. We've been hanging out a lot and visiting each other once in a while. Life is good.

Buzz!!! My phone went off. I grabbed it off my nightstand and looked at the alert. Mitch wanted to text me.. Buzz!!! It went off again. Jerome texted me this time. Mitch or Jerome? Mitch or Jerome? Jerome or Mitch? Blah or Blah or Blah? Too many questions! I finally decided to text Jerome because... well, how can't you trust a sibling? Oh wait, sometimes you can't...

1 Text Message:

Jerome: Hey, Mitch has been asking a lot of questions about Jess. What's up with that?

I gulped while reading the text. Mitch would of asked the same thing. I still don't know if I should tell either one of them the truth. Jerome might tell Mitch anyways. Oh well... It's worth a shot!

Me: Listen, I have to tell you something. DON'T TELL MITCHELL!!!!

Jerome: Whoa, okay. I won't.

Me: Good. Ya better. Anyways the truth is, Jessica moved unexpectedly to Florida. I know it sounds crazy. She wasn't really sick though.

Jerome: What? Why didn't she tell us and only you?

There's the question I knew he'd ask. I didn't really have an answer to give. My best bet was to go-with-the-flow, as they always say. Question though: what if the 'flow's' not working? Okay I'm getting off topc.

Me: I guess she was afraid she'd alarm you guys. Especially Mitch and Jason.

Jerome: She's that type of girl huh? And did you have to lie?

Oh... this question. Well, go-with-the-flow. Go with it, Chloe. Um I should probably shut up now and quit rambling. But if I do- Okay! I'll shut up now.

Me: Yeah she is. Jess trusted me with this situation. I have to help her. She's my best friend.

Jerome: Oh. Well, I'm still going to tell Mitch.

Me: You can do that. And maybe the rest of TC? Don't blame it on me though.

Jerome: I surely won't. See ya Chloe!

End of Conversation

I turned off my phone and laid on my bed. Thank God that was dealt with. I don't want more rumors to spread around the fandom, or my TC buds. I never really knew you can cause stuff like this to happen to people you like. It was like from the beginning of all of this. Jerome started letting Mitch hang out at our house. Then Preston(TBNRFrags), then Rob (Woofles),Matt (Nooch), and then the rest of the Team Crafted members. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Growing up with people who turned out to be your friends into idols. That was my life. Fan-girling over my friends. Jessica changed that for me and I became a person who liked TC but we became friends again more than idols. They were my life.

"Dood! Headshot FTW!" I shouted. Jerome and I were playing a good round of Hide and Seek. We were only doing this for fun. No recording for today. Haha! I bet you thought we were playing the Hunger Games right? Some girl was trolling me and I killed her. What was her name? StevieNation1?

"Mitch! Let's hide together, biggums!" Jerome yelled out. I smiled as I prepped my sword.

"Chop chop, Jerome! Chop chop!" I ran up to him and chopped Jerome to bits.

"MITCH?!" Jerome raged. I laughed my butt off.

"Oh No!" I yelled as the seeker (StevieNation1) killed me. "That's just too fast acting karma!"

Jerome and I laughed as we both turned to seekers. This reminds me of how Jessica and I used to play Hunger Games together. Really Mitch? Now?

"Yo, Mitch! You there?" Jerome asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Oh! Yeah!" I replied.

"Uh okay. It seemed like you blacked out a sec." I started killing a watermelon block. (Ahhh, Bashur).

"Yeah. I was thinking 'bout..."

"Jess?" I sighed. "Come to Skype,Mitch." I exited the game and went back to the chat. Jerome was holding his phone. It had a conversation with him and Chloe. I read the conversation and I was shocked. Jess would tell me everything, right? I would be okay with the whole moving thing. I'm ready for a long distance relationship. I should be.

"Chloe's not joking right?" I asked nervously. Jerome shook his head.

"That's what it seemed like," Jerome answered. I couldn't believe it. Maybe she'll visit? I don't know what to say now... "Sorry. She'll come back soon." I slumped in my seat. Ugh...

I took my phone out and started texting Jess.

Me: Hey Jess. How's Florida?

Jessica: It's pretty good here. How'd you know?

Me:Jerome told me.

Jessica: Oh... Well don't worry. I'll visit...

Jason(A few days ago; A/N Comeback woo!)

I looked around the TC house to see if Chloe was around so I could ask her about Jessica. Jess is the "new talk" of the TC house. Chloe started the talk. She gets so nervous whenever we talk about Jessica disappearing from us. She's definitely hiding something from us. Or could it be just me?

"OW!" Chloe yelled as I bumped into her. Yeah, I wasn't looking where I was walking to.

"Sorry Chloe!" I apologized. She rubbed her side as she got up.

"It's okay. Oh uh see you later. I'm going back to NJ with Jerome in a couple of days. Right now we're packing some stuff and heading to get a bite. Want something?" I thought about it for a second.

"A coke and a sandwich from Subway. I really don't care what you get me."

"Okay. See ya." She headed for the door with Jerome. And that's when I realized, I needed to ask her something. I ran up to catch up with her.

"Hold on!" I yelled. She turned around smiling.

"So, you really wanted ham with that sandwich? Gotcha," She joked and I chuckled.

"Very funny Clo, but can I ask you about Jessica?" Her smile faded into a frown. Then she started walking out the door. I grabbed her arm to stop her. "Chloe? What's going on?!" She looked frightened.

"I don't really want to tell you about this. I admit it, I'm actually afraid to tell you." I was feeling more impatient already. Chloe took out her phone and showed it to me. It showed a conversation of Jerome and Chloe. They were talking about how Jessica... moved? I wonder if she told Mitch about Jess. I bet he was or would be surprised too. "Yeah. I should go now." Chloe dashed away and I never got to say a word.

"Hey Jason, what's up?!" I heard Mitch ask behind me. Should I break the news to him? Nah, I don't want to put pressure on that poor guy.

"Just asking Chloe and Jerome to grab me a bite," I called.

"Aw I shouldda asked Jerome for sumthing. I'm gonna head upstairs. Do you want to record something?" A smile crept up my face.

"Sure."

"Go upstairs when you're ready." And he scrambled upstairs, just like that. I still don't think I could hide this from Mitch any longer..
