Edward drove closely behind the dashing vigilante as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop. He had to know where the man was going, to verify his suspicions.

He went out of sight. Edward got about a mile from Wayne Manor and walked from there and waited for the masked crusader. He waited and waited for some dark knight to run into the house. At 3 A.M., right before Edward was dozing to sleep, he saw a man in a cape jump over the fence. This is when he knew.

Bruce Wayne is the Batman.

He knew how he would get to him now. The butler. He knocked on the door, with his tools from plan A all ready, and waited for an answer. He dodged out of the way, and Alfred Pennyworth opened the door. As he stepped out, Edward placed a cloth around his mouth and nose.

Edward had to hurry, he knew what danger would await him if Bruce noticed him dragging his butler's body away.

Finally, Edward thought, as he got the body to his car, go on a diet or something.

He got to an empty warehouse he knew no one should be coming around. He had Alfred tied to a chair, set up a recorder, and pressed record.

"Master Bruce," Alfred cried, "Help me, sir. Find the Batman. Tell him to come find me!"

"Alfred. Riddle me this:" Edward asked in a low, raspy voice, "Why are you like a clock at midnight?"

"I don't know, sir." Alfred moaned.

"The answer is very simple." Edward said while getting that high of being smarter, "Both of your hands are straight up. Not only is this like a clock at midnight, it is perfect for persuasion for Mr. Wayne to hurry and save his little butler."

"Hurry, Master Bruce."
