Chapter SEVEN

So I guess it’s not everyday that a hot, supposedly foreign guy you have know for less than 6 hrs. says you are not human.
“Right. And pigs fly. Didn’t you see the news? The piglets especially are cute.”
“I am NOT lying.”
Our voices were rising, and people were staring.
“Let’s go the car. We can talk there,” said Kayla.
He frowned, but followed us.
Once we were standing by it, I almost yelled again.
“So what’s your problem? C’mon, you don’t even know us. I say it’s almost offensive to say that to people you don’t even know.”
He glared at me again. “I believe I know you better than you do yourselves. I will prove it.”
He pointed to us. “How big are your wings?”
I gasped. Kayla seemed ready to faint.
How did he know?
I had to regain composure. Surely he was bluffing.
“Wings? Ha! No really, you know there is a nearby mental hospital. Check it out sometime. And, leave. Us. Alone.
I took out my keys to unlock the car, but he barred my way.
“The tattoos on your back will spread to your neck before the day is done.”
“I said, leave us alone!” I pushed him, but he barely budged.
“Listen to me! If it helps, I have them too. The wings. And the tattoos, except mine may not be as intricate as yours but single marks that won’t spread. Yours will though. So wil your pure half’s. You both are of the royal house.”
This time Kayla interrupted.
“Please go. We don’t understand what you are saying. And, why did you call me pure? And…royalty?”
He looked at her then me.
“You guys are the last princess of your tribe. Layla, is it? You are the good, pure half. Your other half is dark. She is not violent, and you are not perfect. It’s just the essence of your good and bad have been split down to two physical bodies. You are Laru-“
“Just stop. Stop. Kayla lets go. Now.”
But of course he had more to say.
“I will see you again. And that time you will know I was right.”
As he walked away we hurried in the car and drove home.
So I hope you all are enjoying it so far. I know these are pretty short chapters. Want longer ones? i want more READS please. Not votes, necessarily. they are good, but that is up to you, your personal decision. I wont force you guys. So go around and spread the story please! Thank you people!
