"Oh...Uh ok, I get it." he smiles weakly.
"No no, I just need time to think. This whole thing is new to me." I laugh a bit at the end.
"I don't see why. You're beautiful." He says grabbing my hand. Oh sh*t. This is happening.

"Thanks Trey. I'll go with you. When should we go?" I ask as his face lights up.
"Uh how about Saturday at 5:00? Is that ok?" He asks.
"Sure! See you then." I say as I hug him. Wait. Where's Adam?
SHIT.
My dream! Did he...like me?
I run over to Adam's house as it was within walking distance since he moved and anxiously knocked on the door. His mom came to the door.
"Hello Lilia! Are you coming to see Adam?" she says sweetly. She must not know yet.
"Yes ma'am." I reply.
"Well he's up in his room, come in."
I rush up to Adam's room and knock on the door.
"Adam? Adam please open up. I'm so sorry." I say as I hear him shift.
"Please Adam." I say as I start to tear up.
".....come in." he says weakly. I come in and see him on the floor, his eyes red. I run over to him and hug him, but he pushes me away after a little bit.
"Adam....I...I didn't know...." I say sitting up straight.
"It's not your fault. I was stupid to think you would like me...." his words hit me like a punch in the gut.
"No....Adam don't think that...." I say tearing up.
"Well you're going out with Trey now, aren't you..." he says looking at his shoes.
"...No." I sigh.
"what? But you hugged him...and he held your ha-"
"I know. But I'm going to cancel it. You're the only one I care about now." I cut him off.
"Really?" He says, looking up at me.
"Yes. Really." I smile. I have to lean up a bit because he's taller than me, but I kiss him on the cheek. He blushes and I laugh a bit.
"Lilia...can I tell you something I've been wanting to say ever since that day we skyped in 6th grade?" He says turning to me. I remember that day. We have changed a lot in 2 years.
"Go ahead."
"You're beautiful, funny, smart and just overall perfect." He says putting his hand on mine.
"I don't know what to say....that's a lot to take in." I say. He laughs a bit and I put my head on his shoulder.
