"HURRRRYYYYYY!" I say pulling him towards the shops. It was a week until our performance, and I couldn't wait. Today, we were choosing clothes to wear on stage, and this was more of my job.
"Alright, Alright." He laughs. We walk into Macy's (lol das my name) and he insists we go for me first, so we go to the juniors area. Surprisingly, he helps me a lot. I pick several outfits, which I try on, and it's not until the 4th one I feel good about.
It's cream and flows with any movement, with a faint blue sparkle to it. It cuts off at a regular height (NO IT'S NOT CUT LOW STOP THIS IS LATE MIEEDLE SCHOOL) with super thin sleeves. I decide to put the light blue flower in my hair cause why not and step out where Adam is.
"What about this one?" I ask as he looks up from his phone. His eyes widen slightly and he straightens up in his seat.
"Uh..y-yeah that one's nice." He stutters quickly.
"Alright, we'll get this one." I laugh.
We go to the men's section (why do I feel awkward writing "men" like what) and we quickly determine his outfit, but I force him to try it on. After about five minutes, he comes out in dark jeans, converse, black collared shirt, a black blazer and white tie. I suddenly feel my self almost swoon, and my knees start to feel weak.
"Like it?" he says striking a pose and laughing.
"Yus." I say quickly. He laughs and goes back to change.

I get home and fall on my bed. This is going to be perfect. Just freaking perfect. I can't stand it, I'm too lovestruck. Sometimes I feel weird because we're in 8th grade but I mean, if I don't get him now, somebody else will.
Don't worry...that's not an issue. There's other things to be worried about.
The performance might not be as perfect as you think it will.
