The Bite

The Plan

    I spent the next couple of days training. Eric had went on a hunting trip and would be back soon. I had to prove to him I was strong enough to take on Storm. I had learned a couple of new spells, the basics really. I was still trying to find my element though. The one power I would excel in. Winter was water. She thought I may be either fire or air. We still hadn't found out though. Mother told me I was special because I would do good in all of them. There would be one I was the best in though. It was hard to find. Winter told me she didn't find herself for months.

   Training was hard. Having to memorize each spell and I coudn't learn another til I had master the one I was learning. Winter said it would take years till I was ready to take on a old vampire by myself. I had to be ready soon though.

   "Morning" I said, as I passed through the kitchen. "Good morning, Miss Sunshine" Winter said. I opened the front door and stepped into the cold air. I walked down the front steps and into the woods. I listened to the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet. Eric was coming back today and I was going to set something up. I was going to make the garden look magical.

   I stepped back and looked up my masterpiece. The lights made the flowers and pond sparkle. The music sound like this was a fairytale. All I had to do now was wait for him.

    I sat on the bench, waiting for Eric. It was dark and I hadn't been home yet. My family hadn't come looking for me yet which was a good thing. I heard the forest leaves crunching. I ran over to the switch and flipped it off. "Hello" a voice not familiar called out. I didn't answer, something told me not to. "I need help" the voice called out again. It was a females voice I was sure of it. I crawled over to the bench and grabbed my bag. I started crawling so she wouldn't see me. Once I was sure she couldn't see me I got to my feet and ran. I was knocked to the ground quickly though. Someone grabbed me and I tried to get free of their strong grip. They dragged me out of the woods and into a car.

   I woke in a room. My head was throbbing and my eye sight was blurry. "Hello" I called out. No one answer. I tried pushing myself up but I was chained. My eye sight finally went back to normal. I was in a grey room with bright lights. It looked like a prison cell. "Hello" I called out again. "The queen will be with you in a moment" a voice said. "Who the heck is that" I asked. No answer. I finally stopped trying to break free of the chains and relaxed.

   "The queen" the same voice said from before. A lady with beautiful blonde hair and ocean blue eyes walked in. I knew who it was. "Hello" she said in a sweet voice. "Storm" I said. She gave an evil grin. "So he still speaks about me" she asked. "Don't get to flatter. Only about how much he hates you". That took her grin right off her face. She pulled her hand back and slapped it to my right cheek. The slap was so hard that my head jerked. "I'll have you know he is only using you to get what he wants. He did it with me" she whispered in my ear. "No you used him" I spat. "Sweetheart, now you tell me. Why would a beautiful young vampire like me, want someone like him? " she asked. I didn't answer her because it didn't make sense in my head. "That's right don't answer" she says to me with a smirk. She turns on her heels and leave.

   The next couple of day I'm tied up, given only little to eat. Left wondering where Eric is and why he hasn't came for me. It makes me alittle angry at him for just leaving me here like this. I think of ways to escape, spells I could do. But, I realize that I'm going to need all my strength to do a spell to get me out of here. I remember of a spell I was working on. It wasn't easy and I had only successfully done it once. It is the only spell I know that will work if I want to get out. So I give in to sleep and awake with a plan.
