It was hours since the gang started their trip and Avery was exhausted. She couldn't remember since she last slept. She had rounded it to a couple of days but she didn't know for sure. Bellamy walked beside her with a gun ready in his hand looking down at Avery every once in a while.

Avery's eyes closed for a second and she tripped over a log. "Fuck." She groaned and Bellamy helped her up.

"Finn. We need to take a break." Bellamy told him while Avery yawned next to him. "Finn!"

"We need to find the others." He snapped back.

"She's our best fighter. If she's tired then we've got no chance if we're attacked." Bellamy argued but she started walking again. "Are you okay babe?"

"I'm fine." She smiled and then realized what he just called her. "You called me babe."

"Oh yeah."

"Its cute." She smiled and walked on. Bellamy stopped her and pulled her Behind a tree for a second. "What are you doing?" she giggled and he pressed his lips against hers. She kissed back immediately until Monroe cleared her throat. "Don-"

"Don't tell Finn. Got it." She smiled and Avery walked with her. "Hello Monroe."

"Hi Avery. How's your leg?"

"Not bad." She smiled back and the pair burst out into laughter as Murphy fell on his face. "This is what I thought Earth would be like. The laughter, the fun, less death."

"Same. It was almost as if the stars were against us."

"Hey. Shakespeare in the park. Doth Mother know you weareth her robes." Avery quoted from a film she watched ages ago. The Avengers, and it was pretty funny and the blond dude was hot.

"Tony Stark?" She asked and Avery high five her.

"Monroe? Avery? Stop messing around and come here." Finn called and the pair hurried up.

"Seriously Finn who peed in your pasta." She sassed and he rolled his eyes.

"Stay down. And shut up."

"I kinda can't." She smiled innocently and Finn pulled her down between him and Bellamy. She let out groan as the bruise was pressed against a rock.

"Avery? Are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine Bell. Now what am I looking at?" She asked Finn handed her a gun to look through the gunscope. "Isn't that Clarke's?"

"It was her dad's."

"That means she wouldn't let it go without a fight." Bellamy stated and Avery got up and started walking towards the camp. She only let the grounder in question see her, he grabbed a sword and walked towards her.

She put her hand around his neck, snatched the sword and hit him with the bottom of it. "Someone should really get him." She smirked and walked back to her position and lifted her shirt up to see the bruise turn from a pale green to a bright blue.

"You should tell him." Monroe told her as she sneacked up next to her. "He'll find out sooner or later."

"Its just a bruise, he'll worry for nothing." She finalized and walked towards Finn whowas lifting up the grounder. "Where are we taking him?"

"I know a place."

Avery was the first to go into the bunker and for her it felt kinda cozy. She got the pack of matches from one of the shelves and started lighting the candles around the room. Finn placed the grounded on a chair and Bellamy went straight to Avery who was checking out what was on the shelves.
