Chapter 35

Johnny, Mackenzie and Jacob were sitting a table eating their lunch. Unfortunately, Annie couldn't join them today for family reasons. As today was the day for interviews and live.ly's later on.
Mackenzie kept looking over her shoulder at Lisa and Lena. Jacob and Johnny saw this.

'Hey Mackenzie if you want to call them here you can.' Said Jacob smiling. Seeing as Loren wasn't with them this morning. In fact, they didn't even know where Loren was.

Mackenzie nodded and opened her mouth to call them. No words came out.

'Um... Mackenzie? You might wanna try using Actual WORDS!' Johnny stated, with the biggest grin on his face.

'Oh yeah course.' murmured Mackenzie embarrassed. She opened her mouth again, but it just went dry. Lisa and Lena were her idols. She was SO nervous. Slumped down in her seat, she went back to eating her food upset.
Jacob saw and nudged Johnny, who was half eating half on his phone. He looked up and Saw Mackenzie. Noticing her sudden change of mood he turned around.

'Hey! Lisa! Lena! Do you want to come sit next to us?' He calls to the twins across from them. It may have gotten the whole rooms attention, but Johnny didn't care, he did it for Mackenzie.

Lisa and Lena looked up, giving their big smiles and nodded in approval. They walked over to them and sat down. Mackenzie stared wide eyed at Johnny as if he had just ended world hunger. She mouthed a 'thank you' to him.

Johnny smiles back with a 'Your welcome!'

Mackenzie glances over to the other side of the room, where Ariel, Mads, Cameron and Zach are. They all seem like such nice people. Looking at them, they all seem to be savouring the moment by laughing and talking.

'Cameron, Mads, Ariel and Zach seem cool.' Lisa says, as if she'd read her mind.

'Everyone is SO nice!'

'Especially you guys!' The trio says in unison smiling. They all laugh.

'Yeah! And we're SUPER crazy!' Beams Jacob.

'Ain't that the truth!' Yelled Johnny agreeing.

Leli giggles slightly. Instantly they knew that they were the people to Be friends with forever.

Lena turns over to Mackenzie.
'Hey I love your hair!' She complimented, making Mackenzie smile. Lisa agreed. Mackenzie grins brightly. She grew enough courage to speak.

'Really? Thank you!' She Exclaimed. 'You both have amazing hair too! It suits you both so well!'

Lisa and Lena smile.
'Danke schön!'

Jacob and Johnny frown confused.
'Huh?'

'Thank you.' They translate, feeling embarrassed they spoke German by accident.

Mackenzie came here really hoping to collab with Lisa and Lena. But after what Johnny and Jacob did for her, she wanted to collab with all her new friends.

'Hey! We should Collaborate! Annie, Zach, Mads, Cameron and the rest of us.' Mackenzie breaks the silence.
Mackenzie didn't really know Loren that well. She didn't hate her, just didn't know her well enough. Yet.
Looking at each other in agreement, the musers at the table nodded their heads.
They agreed, they should collab some time.
They all laughed and talked for the rest of lunch.

'Interviews and live.ly's are later guys so be ready!' Zack says after the group finished their food in the hall room. The 8 stand around him in the musers HQ of the hotel.
'But as today is a special day.' Vinz says. 'We're taking you on an outing.'

A few oohhhs come from around the room.

'Loren and Annie are with their families if you guys wanted to know.'

'We just thought it'd be unfair for them to have private time and you none.'

Vinz and Zack smile. 'Meet us here at 5. You guys now have Free time.'

The 8 look at them as the twins stroll off into oblivion.
