Hey everyone! Recently last week I've noticed a few things that I should point out.
These things have come to my concern and I'm just gonna put it out there now.
1)
Last week, Someone in particular voted on my story, and I just happened to click on their profile (being the curious person I am)
I don't recall this person ever on my profile before and if they had- I do not remember.
I scroll down to their published works, and what I see surprised me.
One of their works was a prequel to to a story which was just like mine. No credit or disclaimer anywhere.
(THIS STORY IS NOW DELETED)
No, I'm not going to name them or the work out for reasons.
The story was collaborated with 2 writers. I am not sure if they were simply inspired by this or low key wanted to take the credit.
Noting that one sentence in this description is 'Do Not Steal'
Going into more depth, another story pops up, which is very similar to the other 2 mentioned, but this time it says that they were inspired by this story...
Just going to say that I am honestly saddened by this. By going out and finding these leave me shocked. It's hard enough writing a story, yet seeing your work being copied.
Hope you all understand! I'm not trying to sound needy or anything, but yeah...
