January 16th - Annie

'Ok Annie, you have your clothes, phone, charger and money in this bag...' My mom points out to the purple bag.

We are in the airport waiting for the plane as my mom does a double check list of everything.

'You got it Annie?' My mom pesters on.

I nod my head sitting down as even more fans come my way.

My dad gets in the way of us, putting his hands up in protest.

'No fans today please!' He announces.

I take a breath as I see the supporters walk in the opposite direction. I feel bad for them, for my family.

But the show must go on.

'Annie, our flight is in a couple of minutes, how about you go talk to your supporters?' Mom interrupts my thoughts, oblivious to what dad just did.

'Dad just shooed them away Mom!' I roll my eyes.

She doesn't reply after that.

'Welcome Aboard the American Eagle Airlines!' The pilot booms from the speakers as we enter the plane.

'Annie! Caleb! Hayley! Your together! Sit down.' Dad orders.

We do as were told and soon we're taking out our phones trying to get connected to special plane wifi.

Instead I just listen to some music putting on music.

'Please fasten your seatbelt sand enjoy the flight!' The pilot commences as we take off from America and off to Australia.

2 hours later.

'Are we almost there?' Hayley asks besides me.

I must've been asleep as I don't remember being awake.

'Not sure Hayley.' I reply, searching for my phone.

Frantically, I notice my phone isn't on my lap. I check my bag but it isn't there. Starting to panic i search the ground.

'Almost Hayley.' Caleb says beside me. 'Go to sleep!'

But Hayley never goes to sleep on flights. Ever.

Taking a deep breath I move around in my seat, checking for my phone. Caleb looks at me awkwardly.

'You okay Annie?' Caleb asks.

'No! My phone is missing!' I cry.

He puts a hand on my shoulder. 'It must've fallen out of your hands when you were asleep.'
'Go ask the staff if they've seen it!'

I ask them as they come along with food.

'What would you like to buy?' A lady with a green uniform asks.

'Not buy, but have you seen an iPhone lying around by any chance? It's mine and I lost it.'

The lady's eyes widen. 'Yes we have actually, we took it to keep it safe as nobody claimed it.'

'Oh yes yes that's mine! I fell asleep as it dropped it!'

She smiles as I see her name on the tag.

'I'll be right back.'

She goes off and gets my phone. I thank her happily and she walks off. A few minutes later the pilot announces that we're landing soon. I smile as I tuck the phone in my bag and watch the amazing clouds outside and enjoy the rest of my trip.

As it most likely won't be for long.
