I looked at Hermione. She had scars across her face yet she slept with a smile.

"When she wakes up we should all go out," Theo suggested

"Where? Anywhere we go with her will get us arrested," I asked.

"Paris, France. She would love that," he replied.

I nodded. "But, let's make it a surprise."

"Hurry up in there, woman!" I yelled through the door.

"It takes longer to get around when you don't have a wand!" She yelled back.

"We're gonna be late!"

"To what?" She asked.

"How many times do I have to say surprise?" I snapped.

"Fine," she said walking out. She was wearing a knee length green dress. "But I don't understand why I have to dress fancy," she sighed messing with her hair.

"You look great, let's go," I said pulling her downstairs.

"About time! Are you two ready?" Theo asked. I nodded so I held Hermione's arm and apparated.

Hermione looked around and saw the Eiffel tower. She squealed really loud. "PARIS!"

I looked at Theo who smirked. "Told you she'd love it,"he whispered.

"Thank you so much!" She squealed hugging us. "Where are we going first?"

I grabbed her hand and led her to a restaurant me and Theo agreed on. We found a place that wizards go to that has the same wards as the Leaky Cauldron.

The waitress came by and started talking in French.

"What do you guys want?" Hermione asked.

"Food," me and Theo replied at the same time.

Hermione rolled her eyes and started talking in French. The waitress nodded and walked away.

"You can speak French?" I asked.

"I learned it before I went to Hogwarts," she replied.

"You were a book worm before Hogwarts too?" Theo asked.

"Well yeah," Hermione said like she was talking to a five year old.

The waitress came back with a strange food. "Crepes," she said. Hermione replied something in French causing the waitress to smile. The waitress walked away.

Hermione started to eat so I followed. I took a bite and realized this was the best food I'd ever eaten.

We'd been to practically every place in Paris before Hermione passed out. I was carrying Hermione as me and Theo talked.

"We should probably get back to my place," Theo said looking at Hermione. I nodded and apparated.

Hermione hid her face when we got back. I walked in the house and saw Theo on the couch. I carried Hermione to a guest room and set her on the bed. She snuggled into the blanket so I left the room.

"She still asleep?" Theo asked. I nodded. "Wanna play truth or dare?"

We played for an hour or so before we stopped.

"I'm bored," I stated.

There was suddenly a scream I was far too familiar with. I jumped to my feet and ran to the room Hermione was in. She was holding her arm.

"WE JUST FOUND IT!" She screamed.

My heart dropped when I realized what she was dreaming about. I ran up to her and Theo was standing in the doorway. "Hermione! Wake UP!" I yelled shaking her lightly. She shot up. She had tears running down her cheeks. I held her shoulders. "Are you alright?"

"Y..yes, I'm ok," she replied. She wiped her face off. "I'm sorry."

"It's ok," I said.

"Happens to all of us," Theo cut in.

She nodded. She was still holding her arm when she got off the bed. "I'll be back in a moment," she said walking into the bathroom.

Me and Theo waited for like ten minutes before I knocked on the door. "Are you ok?" I asked through the door.

"I...I'm ok," she said in a shaky voice.

I opened the door and instantly saw the blood. I took her wrist in my hand and inspected her arm. She was hiding something behind her back. I quickly moved and grabbed her other arm. She had a small knife.

"Hermione?" I asked sounding terrified. She gave me the blade and avoided my eyes. I looked at the word that was carved into her arm. She hid the scars well. I drew my wand and healed the cuts. "Why did you do this to yourself?"

She stayed silent and looked at the blank wall. A single tear ran down her face. I cleaned the blood and lead her outside.

"We need to leave," I told Theo.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"I'll tell you later," I said taking Hermione out the front door. I held onto her and apparated.

We arrived in my room so I shut and locked the door. I cast a silencing charm while Hermione hid her face in a pillow.

"Hermione?" She didn't reply. "How long have you been doing that?" She still refused to reply. "Hermione," I said softly, "can you answer me?"

She started to shake and I knew she was crying. I sat next to her and picked her up. I made her sit up but she continued to hide her face as she cried.

I sighed. "Don't make me do this," I said. She still didn't answer. "Legilimens," I said.

I could see this was her first time doing that to herself but her thoughts scared me. I stopped and looked at Hermione. She was sobbing now and I'm sure she knew what I saw. Her face was pale and she still refused to look at me.

I was scared for her. I held her face in my hands forcing her to look at me. "Hermione, don't think like that. I won't leave you alone anymore if you don't stop."

She cried into my chest and held onto my shirt. We sat there for hours until she passed out from exhaustion. I carefully laid her down and covered her with a blanket. After making sure all weapons were out of reach I tied a rope to her wrist and the other side to the bed post.

I quickly changed into day clothes and went downstairs.
