Draco

Hermione put her face to the glass. "I'm sorry, she started crying. "I'm so sorry."

"Hermione," I said kneeling beside her, "it's not your fault. You couldn't have done anything to stop this."

She was sobbing now so I had her lean on my shoulder. It wasn't seconds before she passed out. I took a picture of the baby before I lifted her from the chair and turned to the healer.

"I'll take her back to the room, just.... take care of my son," I said before carrying her back.

When I opened the door I only saw Theo, Ginny, and Harry. Ginny was asleep in Harry's arms.

"Where's Molly?" I asked, laying with Hermione on the bed.

"She had to go home," Harry replied.

"Where's the picture?" Theo asked.

I handed him the picture. "He looks like you," he commented before handing it to Harry.

"He does," Harry agreed.

"Weirdest moment in history, Nott and Potter agreeing on something," I said.

"No, the weirdest moment in history was when we walked in on you too," Harry shuttered.

"You did what now?" Theo asked, suddenly very interested.

"Caught them shagging in the couch," Harry shuttered.

"He didn't use the door," I argued.

"That's you own fault Potter," Theo said.

I woke to silence. I looked around her room to see everyone was asleep. Harry and Ginny snuggled up on the couch while Theo slept in a chair.

I looked down at Hermione. She had tear stains on her cheeks and looked really pale. I leaned down and kissed her head softly. She didn't wake up so I laid back down and glanced at the clock.

10:00 a.m. just a few hours ago I became a dad...

I couldn't help the huge smile that spread across my face. I carefully wrapped my arms around Hermione, avoiding the stitches in her stomach.

She snuggled up to me and opened her eyes. "Mooorning," she groaned.

"Good morning," I replied.

"Do you want to see the baby?" She asked.

"Yeah, let's go," I said, picking her up off the bed.

I walked down the hall and into the nursery. I smiled when I saw my son. He had rosy cheeks and was asleep on his belly.

"Draco," Hermione whispered, "we're parents."

"Yeah," I whispered back. "What are we gonna name him?"

"Scorpius," she said, placing her hand on the glass.

"Scorpius Gage Malfoy," I said.

Hermione looked up at me with a bright smile and watery eyes. She wrapped her arms around my waist.

"I love you," she said.

"I love you too."

I looked back at my son and noticed how much bigger he was. His skin was pale but his cheeks rosy.

"He's a lot bigger now," I stated.

"We gave him a small bit of skelly-grow and multiple healing spells," a healer said from behind me.

I jumped and turned around. It was the head healer that helped Hermione.

"Ah, Ms. Granger, I'm glad your okay, you gave us quite a scare," he said. "You should be able to bring the baby home as soon as you can walk properly and your wound heals."

"Thank you," she said. "Can we hold him?"

"Go back to your room and I'll bring him in," the healer replied.

I nodded and carried her back to the room. Ginny and Theo were asleep while Harry had his arms around Ginny. He looked up as I set Hermione on the bed.

The healer walked in with the small baby in his arms. Harry's eyes went wide as the healer handed Hermione the baby.

"He needs fed soon... would you rather use formula or breastfeed?" He asked.

"The latter," she replied as she took the baby in her arms.

The healer nodded and left the room. The baby was asleep in Hermione's arms, snuggled into her chest. Harry sat up and woke up Ginny.

The baby was still really small, bigger than yesterday, but still small.

"Can I hold him?" I asked.

Hermione smiled at me and slowly handed me the baby. I smiled at the baby in my arms.

To my surprise, he opened his eyes. His chocolate brown eyes stared up at me. I couldn't help the huge smile on my face.

"He's got your eyes," I whispered to Hermione.

"He's got your hair," she whispered back, "and really pale skin."

"My turn!" Ginny said, jumping off the couch.

I sighed and handed her my son.

"Draco! I can have firewhisky!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Not if your going to breastfeed," I replied.

"GAAA!" She yelled, pulling her hair. "Why!" She whined.

"If it makes you feel better I won't drink either," I told her.

"Funny, you think you have a choice," she laughed.

"Harry, your turn, we have to go soon," Ginny said, handing him the baby.

"Why do we have to leave?" He asked, holding the baby in his arms.

"I'm hungry and I want mum's stroganoff," she replied.

"Alright, I guess you probably want your baby back," he said, handing Hermione my son. "Bye, congratulations!" He said before apparating with Ginny.

"Draco, you have to kick Theo out," Hermione stated.

"Why?" I asked.

"The baby's hungry and there's no way I'm feeding him with Theo in here," she replied.

"Just use the blanket," I said.

She sighed and held the baby under the blanket. After a while she finished and Theo woke up.

"Wow, you slept forever!" I told him.

Hermione handed me the baby. "You burp him."

"The baby's out?!" Theo asked, standing up. "Can I hold him?"

"Yeah, sit down first," I said.

"Really? I can hold a child," he replied.

"Not, a, chance," I stated.

He sighed and sat down. I handed him my baby.

"Take him back!" Theo said.

I laughed and took my baby. He snuggled into my chest as I sat next to Hermione.

"I better go," he said suddenly, "mum's gonna worry."

I nodded and he apparated.

Scorpius fell asleep against my chest and I pulled Hermione close.

"I love you," she muttered against my chest.

"I love you too."

She snuggled into my chest and fell asleep.
