INIQUITY
CHAPTER SEVEN
→ NO REMORSE
JULIANA STROLLED AROUND THE LOCKWOOD MANSION SLOWLY, her appearance being altered slightly in order for her to hide among the crowd, not wanting to draw any unnecessary attention to herself. She fiddled around with the bracelet Katherine had so graciously lend to her, her eyes gazing here and there. She watched Katherine walk up the steps of the Lockwood mansion, shaking hands with Tyler Lockwood before walking inside. Juliana hummed silently to herself, walking around a bit more before eventually walking up the steps herself, shaking hands with Tyler and strutted in, her eyes immediately searching for the brunette vampire.
Juliana slowly walked around, nodding her head towards the person when they greeted her, although she never spoke up. Her eyes landed on Bonnie Bennett, seeing the girl frantically walk into a certain room, her hand digging into her purse as she pulled out a phone, seeming to dial Elena. Juliana followed Bonnie into the room, slipping in silently, Katherine following behind. Katherine stood behind Bonnie whilst Juliana stood to the side, arms crossed over her chest, shifting her weight to one leg as she watched Bonnie slowly pull the phone away from ear, gasping in fright when she turned around, Katherine being in her line of vision.
"We haven't officially met. I'm Katherine." Katherine introduced herself. Bonnie looked towards the side, trying her best not to break her composure when she noticed who it was.
"I know who you are." Bonnie stated, her gaze trailing back to Katherine's, trying her best to keep her tears at bay. She didn't know if having a Juliana copycat was some kind of sick joke to Katherine, a way to get them to bend at her every command. Bonnie didn't appreciate it, so she tried her hardest to keep her eyes off the very realistic looking Juliana. She knew there was no possible way a witch could bring a mortal, a human, back to life. Bonnie was very aware of Juliana, knowing that she was one hundred percent human. Bonnie knew very well that her friend was resting in peace. She had seen her pale, cold body during the funeral. She had seen her pale white-blue lips from the coldness of the water, not to mention the fact that her heart no longer pumped blood. She had seen when they lowered her down into the ground.
"Of course you do. You're the best friend, right?" Katherine questioned, pointing towards Bonnie. "I've been putting all the pieces of Elena's life together. Isobel told me it was a bit of a puzzle, but Juju over here, has been a great help. I do know who Jenna and Jeremy are. And I've met that delicious ex-boyfriend Matt, who's sweet on Caroline, and then there's you, the vampire hating Bennett witch. Let's not forget the important one of all, Juliana Gilbert. The very alive girl standing right in this room who's supposed to be very dead at the moment. Did I do good?" Bonnie turned the opposite direction, only to come face to face with Katherine once again. Bonnie began to concentrate, watching as Katherine began to groan at the aneurysm, before stopping as if it didn't affect her.
"I've been around a long time, Bonnie. You're gonna have to do better than that." Katherine quickly grabbed Bonnie and pushed her up against the wall as Katherine growled at her, the veins protruding from under her eyes, fangs popping up, and her eyes becoming a coal black color. Juliana watched in amusement, her eyebrows lifting up slightly when a panicked Bonnie made the doors fly open. Katherine looked to the side, her eyebrows lifting up in surprise.
'"Nice." Katherine commented.
"Katherine." Stefan's voice rang through Juliana's ears, causing the girl to give Katherine a look. Katherine looked back at Juliana, nodding, before she turned her attention to Stefan. Stefan demanded for her to leave Bonnie alone, and Katherine complied, taking her hand away from Bonnie's neck before walking out of the room. Bonnie turned to look at Stefan, before her gaze turned to look at the bored Juliana. Bonnie cautiously walked towards the girl, watching as her head snapped towards her direction, her eyes narrowing slightly.
