We spent the night at my mom's house, then we took the bus to the airport.

I walked up to the counter with Austin and cleared my throat, "Hi two tickets for New York", "Names please", the man said pushing up his glasses. "Ariel, and Carter Kerr", I said looking at Austin.I handed over the money, and took the tickets, "Thank you", I mumbled wobbling away with my duffle bags.

When I sat down in the waiting seats I cried quietly to myself, I've been crying since last night. Austin didn't notice, because I had my head down low. "Hey wanna get some

"Olivia, stop crying", he said pushing my chin upwards gently.

"Olivia, baby stop",

"C'mon let's go get some Starbucks, look it's over there", he whispered pointing to the lit up signs.

"We're in this together", he said pulling me up from my seat. I whimpered quietly, and stumbled on my steps. "Hey", Austin said telling me to get it together, and stop looking like a fool, then intertwining our fingers.

We walked up the steps and got Austin got in line while I watched our bags at the table. He came back, and sighed taking a seat across from me. "You're strong Ariel", he whispered taking a hold of my hand. "I'm not Ariel", I mumbled looking down. "Yes you are. I know she's hiding deep down in that big heart of yours", he said squeezing my hand, "Austin, not here", I whispered as my tears fell down my face.

Austin got up to get the drinks, and I sat there staring out the window looking at the plane. I will be on that plane in just few.

I need to stop crying, stop being so weak, and pick myself off the ground, because in the end I will be here for myself.

Austin came back with the drinks, I smiled slightly, "Pumpkin spice latte for my cry baby", he chuckled smirking. "Thank you", I said quietly taking a sip of the pumpkin yumminess.

"Plane 7401 to New York City will be taking off in 30 minutes"

"That's us", Austin said taking the last sip of his coffee. I threw my drink away, and followed Austin. "What's in your carry on Olive", he whispered before we got to security, "Money, half of the money and some clothes yours?", "Same"

We scanned our tickets, and got onto the plane. Austin got the window seat, lucky. "Thank you", I said snuggling up onto his side. "For what?", he said, "For everything"

"The plane will be taking off in 5 minutes put on your seat belts, then sit back and relax", the flight attendance chirped. I put on my seat belt, and laid my head back on the seat. "This is it", I whispered to myself quietly. Austin grabbed a hold of my hand and squeezed it as we took off. He wasn't scared, neither was I, but we felt the same feeling. We were in this together, just us, no one else.

I sat back in my seat holding Olivia's hand. This has been a rough 2 days. We haven't got any good sleep, because either I was worrying, or she was crying. We comforted each other when things got rough like that, and I'm hoping when we get to New York we could finally sleep in peace again.

We're in this together, just us, no one else.

****

Austin was sleeping as I snuggled up onto his side again. It's been rough on us, and I was begging for sleep. I get the opportunity and now I can't sleep, perfect.
