Chapter 24:

Austin:

It's 2 a.m. and I'm laying in the guest bed tossing and turning every minute or so. I groaned getting up out of bed; exiting my room quietly. I snuck into Olivia's room laying down in her bed.

She turned over to my side and mumbled, "What are you doing?". "I can't sleep, can I please stay here?", I whispered back. She nodded her head turning back around.

My hands made their way to her waist pulling her closer to my body. "I'm sorry", I whispered resting my head on her shoulder.

"Austin wake up", I heard Olivia shout.
"Olivia shut your fucking mouth", I heard a male voice whisper. "This is it Zach, if he doesn't wake up today they're going to pull the plug", she said groaning.

I opened my eyes slowly only to see that I was in a hospital. I tried to move my head, but my body was not responding.

"Oh my god he's awake", I heard someone whisper. I slowly turned my head to see Olivia, and Alex.

"Where am I? Wh, why can't I", I stammered. "Austin, calm down. You were in a coma these past 6 months. Let me get you water", Olivia cooed.

I saw Alex get up from his seat and pressed the big red button on the wall close to me. "What are you doing man?", I whispered looking at him. "Calling the nurse over, don't talk", he said sitting back down. I wasn't the type to listen to anyone, but I decided I would today. Olivia gave me some water and the doctor followed in behind her.

" Mr.Mahone I see you're awake after these 6 long months", "I'm Dr.Holland", she smiled.

Olivia:

After these long sad nights he finally wakes up; it's a miricle. I'm glad he remembered who I am, because I thought he would forget some things.

Flashback

I opened my eyes to see his beautiful face sleeping peacfully. Today was the day that we were leaving back to New York, and we had to go our flight takes off in 2 hours. I shook Austin's body back and forth, but he would budge."Austin", I said loudly, "We have to leave our plane takes off in 2 hours". Still nothing.

I whipped my hand across his face knowing he'll wake up, still nothing. I called Zach and Kylie over and they couldn't wake him either.

I dialed 911 explaining what's going on with Austin and that he won't wake up. The ambluance rushed over to our house and took him to the same hospital I went to for my leg.

Flashback over

"When will he be able to go home?", I blurrted accidentally. "I am not sure yet, probably in a couple of weeks. He just woke up", Doctor explained.
