I can't do this anymore. I can't go around pretending I'm ok when in reality, I'm anything but that.

It's been 4 months since Camila and Shawn became official.

It's been 4 months since my heart broke into million pieces.

She seems really happy. She seems complete.

I'm miserable. I'm-

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a frantic knock on my door.

Who the hell is this?! It's 1:21am for god's sake!!

"Lolo!!" I was faced with a crying mess when I opened the door. Camila didn't waste a second and tackled me with a desperate hug that almost knocked me over.

"W-What happened?"

"Sh-Shawn...h-he cheated on me."

That asshole. I thought he's different.

I held her in my arms while guiding both of us to the couch.

"Are you sure? How did you know?" I asked carefully

"I saw him...he...k-kissed her."

"Who?"

"Some girl, I don't know her name."

"I'm sorry."

We stayed like that for what felt like hours. She's sobbing uncontrollably while I was consoling her. I didn't ask any more questions. She doesn't need to be interrogated, she needs her...bestfriend.

"How are you feeling?" I asked while handing her a glass of water.

"Bit better, thanks to you." A sad smile appeared on her face.

"Listen. Shawn is an idiot for cheating on you. What he did, it doesn't mean that you're a terrible person. He doesn't deserve you."

"You always say that to every guy that I've been with. If none of them deserves me then who does?"

"...I do."

...I'm miserable. I'm desperate.

This is my chance to tell her how I feel. Worst timing, considering what just happened but like I said I'm desperate.
I can't go another day hiding the truth from her. She needs to know what I'm feeling.

This can go two ways.

Either she'll be understanding and tell me that's it's ok and that we would still be bestfriends.

Or she would freak out and leave. Leave from my house and from my life, completely and permanently.
