Amanda now has strength now but it only comes in short spurts. She has gain five pounds maybe more. Ken has managed to keep her weight the same, but I have lost a few pounds. Amanda will not speak about what happened to her, but she has told us stories of her family. Or as we all say the best times of our lives. We are all sisters; we will always fight for each other. We will meet each other on the outside. Every time the door would open we would all cringe with fear. The people left two buckets every day and the other day they left another book and a sweatshirt. We gave the Sweatshirt to Amanda, and then we all cuddled up under the blanket and started to read our new book called never enough. We feel asleep and awoke at the same time. We ate, we talked and we slept, that is our live we have nothing else but each other.
We are no longer strangers, we are a family. I think of my life before this and how there was so much I missed at times and you never know until it is too late. I miss my old life, my friends and my family. I think that I am going to miss a lot in my life. I will not get to see my brother graduate from public and high school or from College. I will never see him get married or have kids. I will never know if I became a big sister. I will end up becoming a faded memory in the back of people’s minds. I will keep going for Amanda and Kendall, they need me and I need them. Our lives have been taken from us, like they were worth nothing but they were worth everything...
The door opens and they yell for Amanda. Her faces our faces just went as white as can be. I grabbed her and whispered to her that everything will be okay and keep fighting. I hugged her and told her I loved her. Kendall hugged her and she walked to the door and the grabbed her arm and pulled her through the open door and then slammed the door behind her. Kendall broke in to tears, I just hugged her in my arms and said that she will be back, through there was a thought in my mind that I would never see her again. Kendall and I sat down and we cuddled each other staring at the door. I don’t know how long it was before we drifted off to sleep together. I prayed that Amanda will be okay and will be waiting for Ken and me on the outside.
