LETHAL COMBINATION
The Excruciating Death, now the flagship of the Tao'Vak New Order, flew through space. Sucked along by the fabric of space itself. He could see stars seemingly stretched for millions of light years, as the light was being bent, compressed and decompressed before reaching his eyes. The field of negative energy warping space around the ship was invisible to his eyes. He had heard of species such as Humans, and Kyyvari capable of seeing a bluish Colour that rippled like water dropping into a puddle. He envied humans for that natural-born ability. The Tao'Vak could see red, green and yellow only, in addition, the infrared was also seen, though through their evolution they only used infrared vision during times of hunting and survival situations.
Soon Dyjia would be in orbit around Earth, and the first phase of his plan would commence. His plan consisted of three phases. One, he would establish a strongly defended New Order Headquarters on and around Earth. In phase two he would build billions of ships, quadrillions of Advanced Assault Cyborgs, which is what the captured humans had become. He knew that he would need to do some mass-cloning to achieve the needed amount of assault units. He knew the irony of using the inhabitants of a conquered world against his fellow kind. Humans have proven themselves to be excellent warriors, and the advanced cybernetic enhancements would make them an unstoppable force.
The third phase would consist of contacting the small group of humans that possesses unusually powerful alien warships. He often wondered how they came into possession of the long dead Zet'Nyk'A Warships. It wasn't known that the long dead race had come to find the Earth system. There was evidence of an outpost on the red fourth planet, as the living ships of the Zet'Nyk'A were still flying around the system. Most of the ships were scientific ships that were likely taking random humans in for bio testing and general evolution enhancing, that the dead race was known for when they lived five billion years ago.
Dyjia wonders if perhaps the Zet'Nyk'A had used their own DNA to construct the life in this system. The fact that the Tao'Vak had similar genes to the humans seemed to confirm this suspicion. The Zet'Nyk'A had constructed the Tao'Vak race after all.
Considering that the Zet'Nyk'A had amazing mind powers, it was likely that the humans had them as well, locked in their genes. The extent was unknown, but he suspected them to be more significant than his own race's abilities.
There were some bits of information pulled from the human's computer mind technology -hard drives- the humans called them, that told of psionic abilities such as Telepathy, Telekinesis, and others. Though these were thought to be unreal by a large degree of humans. If only they could grow to accept their mental differences and abilities. The skeptical mind is one of doubt, suspicion, and ego. Erase this and they would be accepting of one another in a way that would change the species for the better. The Tao'Vak had undergone this millennia ago, during The Changing Winds era, when they had become aware of the essence of each other through a telepathic connection. It changed the entire race, but it only took one individual with a very dark soul to infect others with dark sickness and bloodletting. It disgusted Dyjia that his race became so war bearing, cruel, and feral.
This would change in time. Once the death of The Dark One was complete, a new era could start, one of peace and harmony.
He decided that he would teach these humans the mind powers that they have, and guide them to inner harmony and through that guidance, they will not become dark. That was his highest hope as if they became an evil species they would become dominant. A force with that could kill anything that they wish. That was a horrifying thought, but he had faith in the human's light characteristics.
The Earth system came into view and the automatic FTL Shifting system shifted Dyjia's ship from one thousand percent above the speed of light to two hundred thousand kilometers per standard hour. The ship was put on course for Earth, using antigravity drives to propel the ship on its way. The round, curved ship separated in the middle and out came the ships gravity/antigravity projector. It was designed to resemble a blue ring of energy suspended by golden shimmering light, with a red ball of energy held in place with electric arches. It was beauty with function melded together. The ship now resembled a beetle from Earth.
