FAILED COUP
The Threshathan Homeworld
The Threshathan's used my rod and constructed a Saucer Ship, after we boarded we left for orbit. I was amazed by the unexpected turn of events. "Dyjia, who is the leader of a band of rebels named 'The New Order' is craving the chance to kill the Supreme Commander, and turn his people around. The job of turning an entire species of warring, conquering, and downright evil people, to a peaceful, caring and harmonious society is beyond ambitious. The degree of drive, optimism and hope required even to try... It was incredible in of itself.
We now have our thought-to-be-dead people with us again, thanks to this Dyjia guy.
Now it's time to mobilize our ships and personnel with our new ally. Dyjia has been building a big-ass fleet of frigates, capital ships and the like. We apparently have 'two cycles' or roughly two months to kill the Supreme Commander. End log." I said to the computer while sitting on an automatic form fitting chair. It had black leather, and was very soft and comfortable; he wished he could sit longer and bask in that simple pleasure, but it was time to go down to Holo-Imaging and strategize our assault on the Supreme Commander
I got up and strolled over to the gray door, which opened automatically with a sound he programmed in. The sound was mimicking a nineties surfer saying, "Party on dude!"
He programmed the door to say other things in that nineties surfer accent that he'd seen in a movie once.
Things like, "Gnarly dude!" and "Totally rad, dude!" Among others. Anything to make him smile and have a good day.
While he walked to the elevator he said to the ships computer A.I., "Lemon Squeeze, play me Back in Black by ACDC." Immediately after the song played for him, he walked while the ship played the song. Through the use of sound dampening fields, the music was kept only within a meter around me. Outside of that, there was silence. My ride down to Holo-Imaging was filled with air guitar solos and head banging. Just as soon as the doors opened, it was business as usual. He didn't want people to think he as weird after all. The song automatically stopped, and I got down to business.
I found that Miles and Dyjia were arguing about who would be doing what. To remedy this, Tod pulled out his Rod Device and constructed an air horn with it. He then pointed the air horn towards the two and pulled the trigger. A giant, ear piercing torrent of sound erupted, which instantly broke up the argument and sent everyone's hands to their ears.
"Jesus Christ! Of Latter Day Saints! That was loud! I nearly shit myself, Tod!" exclaimed Miles.
Tod looked at both Miles and Dyjia and said, "Well, I had to stop the argument somehow, right? Now that the master of awesomeness is here, we can assemble teams of people to help save this galaxy from Darth -I mean- the Supreme Sugar-Daddy! This mission is an incredibly important one, and we need to work together to achieve it."
Miles smiled and said, "Buddy, you had me at Supreme Sugar-Daddy!"
Sarah smiled and nodded her head.
Dyjia looked at Tod with a look of pride and said, "I vow an oath to you and this galaxy that the Supreme Commander will perish. If it is in my last dying moments, I will save my family -both old and new- you have my word."
Miles looked at Dyjia and said with a smile, "So... Who gets your sword?"
Knowing that this was human humor, Dyjia replied in kind, "You shall not get it. That is a certainty." Miles clenched his fist and waved it jokingly and said, "Damn I thought I had it. You wouldn't be selling it, would you?"
Dyjia only said, "No, I shall not sell my sword, and I will not be selling it in the heat of battle. For that would be, very unwise, strange one."
Humor -Tod noted- was a good sign that things were winding down.
