Well, I'm pretty sure you can imagine how the story went from there.
Alice remained as Secretary of War all throughout the Washington Administration, and continued to serve during the Adams Administration. Amanda and Benjamin ended up becoming Senators in the Congress, passing laws that would end up changing America forever. We all know what happened to George, how he led the country for a wonderful time of eight years.
As for Lin-Manuel, he did indeed assist Secretary Hamilton in the writing of the 85 Federalist papers, forever changing history. He went down in history as one of the most famous Revolutionaries, which would greatly alter the musical that would be written about the war.
It was on a warm day in 1799 that Alice saw George for the last time. He had fallen ill, and she stayed with him throughout the worst of it, and was by his side when he died. However, before the fateful moment, they shared a whispered conversation together with a certain goddess of love.
"Greetings, Secretary Washington and President Washington."
Alice and George turned around, stopping mid-conversation. They saw Aphrodite standing there, smiling at them.
"My my, look at how far you have come." chuckled the goddess, and Alice nodded solemnly. Four of the six Washington children, Lawrence, Benjamin, Alexander, and Amanda, watched the scene sadly. Lawrence gripped his mother's shoulder, the way that his father used to. She looked up at her son, her eyes glistening with unshed tears as she stroked George's hand while the goddess talked.
"...now, as I am sure you know Alice, the future America needs to be fixed. Badly." Aphrodite was saying, and Alice nodded, narrowing her eyes. She coughed, as though she was covering up a word that sounded suspiciously like "Trump."
"I know you two will not wish to be separated by death, as is normal for soul-mates, and therefore I have a proposal for you."
Alice leaned forward in interest, and Aphrodite smirked.
"We need someone to fix this country, one last time. I can only think of one pair, and that is George and Alice Washington, with the help of the Tallmadges." Aphrodite smiled at them, and the aforementioned couple looked at each other with joy in their eyes. Death would not separate them after all, it seems.
"Would Lin, Alex, and Gilbert be able to help us? The four of us cannot fix the country alone."
Aphrodite nodded, and Alice smiled widely, for she would get to be with her friends again, in the nation that they made.
George coughed, interrupting Ali's thoughts. She looked at him lovingly, and he slowly spoke.
"Ali, before I go, I have one last word of advice for you, sweetheart. Remember, everyone should sit under their own vine and fig tree-" George whispered, as he reminded Ali of their secret phrase.
"-and no one should make them afraid," she completed the phrase, as her husband ceased to breathe. The kids pulled their mother into a hug, as she let the tears she had been holding in flowed freely. Suddenly, Mandy and Benjamin burst in, panting.
"Are we too late?" Benjamin asked, his voice hoarse at the thought of his General, his mentor, his friend passing on. Ali simply nodded, as the kids tried their best to comfort their depressed mother. Amanda did not speak, but pulled Alice into a hug, and whispered something into her ear.
