"Lydia! Lydia! Lyd! Oh my god are you ok?" I ask sprinting up to her with Stiles hot on my heels.

"I'm okay. That, over there... Not okay." Lydia points to the life guard chair where a body is slumped.

"Yeah, all right. I'm gonna call my dad."  Stiles says seeing the blood splattered from here.

"I already called 911." Lydia states. Stiles and I's eyes go wide.

"You called the cops before you called us!" I exclaimed.

Lydia raises her eyebrow at me. "I'm supposed to call you first when I find a dead body?"

"Yes!" Stiles and I both yell.

"Are you sure?" I hear Scott ask.

"Yep. Throat ripped out, blood everywhere. It's like the frickin' shining over here. Two little twin girls come out of the woods, start asking me to play with them forever and ever, I'm not gonna be surprised." Stiles jokes but really he was being serious.

"Can you get a little closer to make sure it was them?" I hear Scott ask. Stiles pulls the phone away from his ear and stares at the phone for a minute.

I groan and rip the phone out of Stiles hand. "Scott who the hell else would be going around ripping heart out?" I snap.

"Please just do it." He begs.

"You're an idiot." I say shaking my head before hanging up. I toss the phone back at Stiles before heading over to look at the body.

Stiles fumbles with the phone before following me over to the gruesome body. I trail my eyes over the bloody body. My eyes land on the shiny purity ring that the life guard wears. Poor fella, dies a virgin.

Damn I really need to get on that, with all the shit in this town happening I don't wanna die a virgin.

"Devin hey come on." Stiles says snapping me out of my day dream.

"You didn't have to follow me home." Lydia complains as Stiles and I follow her into her room.

"We just wanted to make sure you're ok." I say.

"I had a police escort." Lydia states.

"I know the inner workings of that force, all right? They're not nearly as reliable as people think." Stiles butts in.

"Well, you also didn't have to follow me into my room." She states again.

"Ah well... Ok I don't know why we did that. We'll leave." I say pointing behind.

Lydia raises her eyebrow at us. "Are you really gonna go without asking me the question that you've been dying to ask me? "

"Well, I'm not... I haven't been dying to ask anything. I... no questions here for Stiles. Nothing." Stiles denies.

"Yea nope... No questions here... No questions what so ever." I lead off.

"I can see it on your faces." Lydia sighs.

"Maybe my face just has, like, a naturally interrogatory exp... expression." Stiles tries.

Lydia goes to say something else but is cut off by my phone. I look down and see Derek is calling. "I'd love to continue this but I need to take this call." With that I excuse myself to the hall. "Derek hey!"

"Devin listen to me. I'm going to tell you this but you can't freak out." Derek's voice warns.

"Woah what's wrong, who died?" I ask concerned.

"More like who didn't die..." Derek trails off.

"Derek what the hell are you saying?" I push.

"Cora, she's alive. She was the wolf in the vault with Boyd." And like that I felt like my world was spinning.

"Wha-how? She was in the house that night? The cops, they only found Peter?" So many questions began running through my head. Feeling dizzy I leaned against the wall and slid down it.

"I don't know but right now she's going crazy and is on the lose." Derek informs.

"You've got to save her Derek. If she's alive you've got to save her." I say closing my eyes.

"I will, I've got to go bye Dev." With that he hung up.

How did Cora survive? The police search all of Beacon Hills for survivors. I don't understand how this happened.

I felt my breathing becoming sporadic and soon I was having a panic attack. "Devin? Hey woah Devin what's wrong?" I hear Stiles voice. Looking up I see a blurry, concerned Stiles kneeling in front of me.

"Stiles. I. Can't. Breath." I choke out.

"Alright, alright. Look at me shhhhh. Come on." He coos taking my face in his hands. "Shhhhh I'm right here look at me. Come on Dev go to you're happy place. Breath in and out come on."

I do as he says and try taking slow easy breaths but I can't. "St-stiles. I can't." I choke.

"Hey hey come here." Stiles reaches out and pulls me close to him cradling me. Sitting there with me in his lap he softly sways back and forth whispering things like "you're ok" and "shh I'm here, I've got you". Slowly but surely my breathing began to slow.

"You ok now?" He ask softly placing a kiss on my head.

"Y-yea I'm fine now I think." I says moving myself out of the comfort of his arms. I could see the hurt flash through his eyes as I move. "Stiles th-" I was cut off by his phone ringing.

"Hello? Yea. Uh huh. Devin. Yea be right there." Stiles hangs up and turns to me. "Melissa wants us at the hospital."

I nod and follow him out to the jeep. The ride to the hospital was to say the least awkward. "Thank you." I speak up trying to break the silence.

"For what?" He ask keeping his eyes on the road.

"For staying with me and helping me through the attack. You didn't have to do that." I say.

Stiles let out a sigh and ran a hand through his hair. "Why would I leave you Devin? I already told you I still love you. I always have and I'm going to do everything I can to prove that to you."
