Pulling into the drive way of the loft I get out slamming the door. Grabbing my bag I storm into the loft throwing open the door. I was so caught up in my anger that I completely forgot about the whole Derek situations, that is until I walked in the door.
"Oh my god Derek!" I yell dropping my bag and taking off towards him.
"Devin." He grunts as I launch myself into his arms.
"I thought you were dead." My voice was muffled by my facing being in his shirt. "Don't ever do that to me again you understand. I can't lose anymore family." I say pulling away.
"I know." He says wrapping me in a hug again. "I know."
"What do you know?" A voice calls making my head snap towards the steps.
"Cora?" I whisper.
"Devin is that you?" Cora ask.
I let out a dry laugh. "Yea long time no see sis." With that Cora comes over and hugs me.
"It's good to see you." Cora says pulling away.
"Wait where's Jake?" Derek questions completely ruining everything.
"Jake Killian?" Cora ask.
"Yea about that I kinda kicked him out." I say playing with the ends of my hair.
"Why?" Derek ask skeptically.
"He didn't trust my friends which means he didn't trust me and I'm not living with someone who doesn't trust me." I admit but I think Derek could tell there was something more.
"You're hiding something, what is it?" Derek notices.
I look around skeptical before meeting Derek's concerned eyes, a look he rarely holds. "He's hiding something, I don't know what it is just yet but I'll find it."
"Are you sure about that?" Cora ask breaking in.
My eyes shoot across to Cora. "Nobody comes in here and messes with my friends or family. If that's what his plan is I'm not having any of it. And who knows I may be wrong, I hope to God I'm wrong, but if he's here on alternative motives I'm going to find out!" I warn.
"Are you sure?" Derek questions.
I raise my eyes to meet his before nodding. "Absolutely."
********
Come over? Those two words made a smile cross my face as I sat at the able in the kitchen. "What are you grinning at?" Cora ask as she pours a bowl of cereal.
Her voice gaining Derek's attention as he turns to me. "Stiles." I respond.
"Why would you be smiling at him? You're broken up." Derek ask.
"We may or may not be back together." I shrug.
Derek puts the milk down, rather hard might I
add. "Devin he-" I cut Derek off by holding up my hand."I know but I love him Derek." I say.
"What'd he do?" Cora buts in.
"Nothing." I say at the same time Derek responds "cheated on her."
I squint my eyes as I glare at Derek. "Look he made a mistake but he's always been there for me. You can't stop me on this one." I say standing up and grabbing my jacket.
"Devin Hale you do not have permission to walk out that door." Derek's voice boom.
I let a laugh escape my lips as I turn back to him smirking. "Good thing I'm not asking for it. Besides whose gonna stop me you? We both know now that I have Stiles back I'm stronger." I smirk throwing open the door. "Be back later... maybe." I call before heading out.
******
Walking up to the Stilinski house I look down at the key on my key chain. Do I walk in? Are things back to the way they use to be? Deciding against it I raise my fist and knock lightly.Seconds later the door flys open and Stiles stands there confused. "Did you just knock?" He questions.
"Shut up I didn't know if things were back to the way they use to be." I groan walking in hiding my face.
"Hey look at me." Stiles says catching my elbow. "I don't want you to feel uncomfortable with us. I want things back to the way they use to be." He says looking into my eyes.
"Me too, more than anything." I admit looking up at him. Stiles let's a smile cross him face before leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to my lips. I smile pulling away, savoring the moment. "So why'd you call me over?" I ask.
"I just want to see you." He smiles placing his hand on my check. I smile into it but a giggle soon follows. "What?" He ask concerned.
"It's nothing." I giggle. "We're just acting like two freshman in their first relationship." I giggle again.
Stiles smiled and nods laughing. "You're right this isn't us." He chuckles. "But you know what is us?" He questions raising his eye brow.
"What would that be Stilinski?" I tease.
"Star Wars marathon." He grins.
I smile and shake my head. "Only if you have popcorn."
"Would I even offer this up if I didn't?" He teases in an offensive voice. "You go set it up and I'll make the popcorn." He says heading into the kitchen.
"Extra-" I start to call but Stiles cuts me off. "Butter sheesh woman you act like I don't know."
I smile as I kneel in front of the tv in search of the disk. "Are we starting with I or IV" I yell out.
"Seriously? Do YOU even know me?" He emphasizes.
"Right got it episode IV." I mumble to myself as I slide the disk into the DVD player.
"Get the movie?" Stiles ask waltzing back in the living room with a bowl of popcorn.
"Yup!" I smile. "Blanket?" I question pointing to the closet.
"Yea the big one." He nods taking a seat on the couch. Grabbing the big blanket out of the closet I take my place at Stiles side as I throw the blanket over the two of us and he hits play on the remote.
As the iconic Star Wars theme song begins playing in the back ground I smile looking up at Stiles who is completely intrigued by the moving playing. This is what I missed most about us, the comfort of being tucked into his side and he absentmindedly traces circle on my shoulder to which his arm is wrapped around. The way he pulls me closer without noticing when he feels me shiver, how his smile grows when something exciting his happening, the random kisses he presses to my head, everything about him.
I guess I hadn't noticed how long I'd been staring at him until his eyes suddenly meet mine. "What are you staring at?" He whispers.
I smile and shake my head. "Nothing, I'm just glad to be back in the position."
"Me too." He smiles leaning down for a soft slow kiss.
