Today

Lucy's POV

When I wake up a bright light is shining directly in my face. I bring my hands up to block it and when I do I see bruises and cuts on them. Not again. I hear a door open and I turn my head to see and when I do I regret it because I then see Erza walk in. "I can ex-" she holds up a hand. "Don't bother." She hands me two pills. "I understand you being angry. But what I don't understand is you not taking your pills."

She looks at me. "Care to explain?" She crosses her legs and her arms in a very professional manner. "I . . . I don't know." But I do know. I just don't want to admit it. "Well you are going to have to start taking them everyday now that we are going to all be in the same building working together." I look away. Don't freak out again Lucy. Calm down.

"So, what happened?" I ask. "Well you lost control and started to stab everyone. I stopped you before you could actually kill anyone." She started to get up. "And what about Levi?" She looked at me with a uneasy expression. "She is . . . I wouldn't . . . Uh . .-"

"Don't worry. I understand." She's probably terrified of me. I guess I'll have to keep my distance for now. Erza gives a reassuring smile and leaves. I hate myself.

Natsu's POV

I wake up on the cold hard ground. My head is throbbing. They probably knocked me out. Assholes. I get up and see only Laxus and Gray sitting down talking to each other. "It's about time, jeez I was just about to leave you." Says Gray walking towards me. "Why didn't you. Who says your face is the first thing I wanna see when I get up."

"Ha, my face is fabulous. Who wouldn't want to see it." Laxus raises his hand. "That makes two of us." I mumble. "Whatever. Just get your ass up Master is waiting for you." I shiver. Not again. I see Gray smirk.

"What does he want?" I ask knowing exactly what's going to happen. "Go find out for yourself." Laxus gets up from the chair he was sitting in and walks out the door. I look to Gray. "What he said" and then he leaves, still smirking like an idiot. Well better get this over with.

Once I reach Jellal's office I hear people talking. I brace myself and walk in. "Natsu . . . " says Jellal awkwardly. "Natsu I believe you know what is going to happen now?" Master asks calmly. I breath in and then out and close my eyes. I nod my head waiting for impact . . . . But nothing comes.

" . . ."

". . ."

"What are you doing?" Asks Jellal

"Waiting"

"For?"

"My punishment?"

I open my eyes and see them both looking at me dumbfounded. "Isn't this what you meant? Well I'm ready whenever you are" they look at each other and then at me. "BWHAHAHAHA!" They both start to laugh. I'm so confused right now. "What?" I ask.

"Natsu, you do know that the Mercenaries will be working with us from now on. Right?" I look at him and then Master and then back at him "Why?" I ask. I restrain my self from freaking out again. "Well, let's just say we're running low on funds right now and we can't afford much stuff at the moment"

I stood there trying to compose myself. "So when does this new arrangement start?" I ask in a serious tone.
