Natsu's POV

I look straight into her gorgeous brown eyes. Mira was right. I can't look away. I can't shake this feeling that I know her somewhere, like she was there in my past. Then I hear these words that confuse me even more.

"Do I know you?"

I look at her, shocked. There's no way she could be thinking the same thing.

Bang! Bang!

I'm about to answer her when someone or something starts banging on the door. "Who's in there!? Open the door!" I turn to Lucy and keep quiet. We both have the skills to kill all of these people but if we do we are in for so much trouble. She gets off the bed and moves to the closet. She motions for me to follow her. She opens the door and walks in. I follow her and turn the light on.

Holy shit

She has so many freakin weapons in here, and they look so cool! She opens a mini cabinet next to her throwing knives. "What are you doing?" I whisper. She grabs some sort of pill bottle. "Sleeping pills." She says. "If they brake down that door then we should act as if we just took some of these and passed out." She pauses. "I have a feeling that door isn't gonna last long with the way they're treating it."

I nod. "This should work. These pills are super strong, you can sleep for hours and not feel or hear anything while your out." The people outside keep banging on the door. She's right, even if that door is sealed they can still break in with whatever the hell they're using to hit the door.

Those damn bastards. I seriously want to smash their skulls in right now. Not only are they breaking our shit but who knows what would've happened with Lucy if they didn't show up. I'm guessing, and hoping, only good things. I smirk to myself but it soon disappears when I hear a cracking noise. Why the hell aren't the higher ups doing anything? This is bad.

Lucy grabs my hand and throws me on the bed. I blush at the action. She then throws herself on the bed and pulls the blanket over us but then pauses. "Take your shirt off." she says bluntly. 'What?"

"It'll look like more convincing trust me." Right, I do take my shirt off when I sleep. She turns and places the pills on her night stand along with an empty cup. "It'll be even more convincing if I take my pants off too." I wink at her and I catch her blush lightly. "I don't think they will be checking underneath the blanket dummy" I smile at her. "You never know. If they catch us I'm blaming my death on you." I take my shirt off and wait for a response.

I can see her staring at me in the corner my eye and I smile. "Well?" I say throwing my shirt to the ground. "Ok, fine" She says and turns her face. There is another crack at the door. "Hurry up" she says and lays down. I throw my pants to the side and do the same. As soon as I close my eyes the door breaks open. "Check inside. Who's in there?" Says a deep voice.

I can feel flashlights on me but I don't move. My breathing is steady but I can feel Lucy shaking lightly. I don't understand, she's a mercenary, I don't know why she would get so scared. "Just a couple of love birds, looks like they took some heavy sleeping pills, that's why it looks like they are dead," Says a female voice.

Love birds?

Lucy's hand twitches at my side and I move slightly to grab it. She clenches my hand tightly. "Damn these pills are hella expensive. I use to have these at my old place." Some guy grabs the bottle. "Slept through a whole bombing while on this shit. Should we take them? I need some more." Bombing? Where does this guy live?

"Put that back dumbass. We're not thieves." Says the girl. "Let's just go there ain't nothin' here."

"Right." And with that they leave. I can hear them try to fix the door but fail. Those assholes. Lucy's hand is still in mine and I'm hesitant to let it go. Her hand is so soft, and It feels good in my hand. I wait until I don't hear any footsteps anymore then I turn to Lucy.
