Killing Time

Natsu's POV

I rub the back of my head with my hand uncomfortably, "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Well I just wanted to come and see you since I haven't seen you all day yesterday and you sort of ditched me." She says

"Oh I'm sorry, I don't remember" I say. This is pretty awkward. I hear Lucy drop something and then a few curse words follow after. "Is someone else here? And why are you wearing only some boxers?" She asks. I can see her blush and try to avoid eye contact. "Yes" I say not sure how to respond without making it look bad.

"Who is it Natsu?" asks Lucy. "Uh it's Lisanna." I say. I hear something else drop and then silence. "You okay?" I ask.

"Uh Natsu, do you have a girlfriend? Is that why you are sort of naked?"

"W-what? I-it's not-"

"Hello Lisanna." Says Lucy from behind me. "Lucy!?" She says. "It's so good to see you" She smiles and comes inside. Damn I didn't want her coming in. She hugs Lucy and Lucy looks at me.

'I didn't want her coming in!' I mouth to her.

'You think I did!" She mouths back.

'It's gonna take an eternity to get her out!' I mouth again. She just shrugs her shoulders and then Lisanna backs away still smiling. From what Lucy told me I would think they didn't like it each other but it seems Lucy just doesn't like her, I could be wrong though.

As soon as I think of an excuse to get Lisanna out of here the alarms go off. We all freeze, waiting for something.

"Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Armed intruders! Be ready to engage in combat!" Says the lady speaker. I clench my fists. Finally some action. I've been waiting for this for like a week. Apparently there has been rumors of some rival organization that have been planning to attack us and I've been waiting. I look to Lucy and she looks back at me. We walk towards each other. "This was unexpected but this would be great to relieve some anger and stress" she says while cracking her knuckles.

I smirk at her and do the same. "That reaction was unexpected, you seem confident. You sure you can handle this? I can take these guys and you stay and uh . . . stay safe." I give a cocky grin. She smirks back. "That mouth of yours is gonna be the death of you." I smile wide. "As long as my death is by your hands"

Before she can respond there is a big boom. I smile wider. "I'm all fired up." And with that we are out the door.

"Hey, we totally left Lisanna in there you know." Says Lucy, still running by my side.

"She can manage." I shrug.

And our first opponent is a weirdo with some wacky blonde hair. He's got a gun but he also has a long bunchy trench coat so i'm guessing he's got some other stuff hidden away. And his hair looks as if it's trying to hide something, like a bomb.

I freeze.

"L-lucy." I can feel a lump in my throat.

"What is it?" She asks. "Why do you look so pale? Don't tell me your getting scared" I can hear the smirk in that sentence. "Pfft, please" I say. "But we are missing something." I look at her. "What?"
