Luke pulled a lot of stupid faces at me as we ate our mac and cheese together straight from the microwave, leaning against the kitchen counter.
I laughed really hard, and tried my best not to choke.
"Charlotte, do you ever think about the future?" Luke asked me, causing me to put my fork down.
"Every girl thinks about the future," I replied, leaning over and placing my lips on his.
"Am I in it?" He asked quietly, just before I was about to walk away.
"Depends," I joked, grinning before walking round the corner and into the huge lounge.
"Hiya Jai," I smiled, slouching on the sofa next to him.
"Hi Charlotte, where's Luke?" he asked, his eyes leaving the TV screen.
"Eating microwave mac and cheese," I replied, laughing when I saw Jai's face expression.
"Microwave food? Did he not learn Home Ec in school?" He exclaimed, turning to look back at the television.
I laughed again, standing up and was about to leave the room before Jai spoke. "Charlotte, wait,"
"Yeah?" I reversed back into the room and watched Jai stand up. He walked over to me but stopped centimetres in front of me.
Slowly, Jai leaned in, placed his hands on my waist and kissed me effortlessly. Fireworks. Nuclear bombs. Explosions. He kissed me slowly but very romantically and passionately, so I automatically kissed back without even meaning to. When our lips crashed against each other, it was different. Like nothing with Luke.
It was hard to pull away from the kiss, but I knew that it couldn't last forever. Smiling longingly at Jai, I could tell that it was amazing for him as well.
"Wow," I was stunned, maybe at the fact that my boyfriend's really good looking twin brother can kiss better than him.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting to do that," Jai grinned, happy that he'd impressed me. His hands slipped from my waist just as Luke walked in and Jai left quickly.
"What was that?" Luke asked me, grabbing the TV controller and switching the channels as he .
"Oh, nothing. It doesn't matter," I sat next to him, letting his arm slip around my shoulders.
"Oh right."
We both sat in silence, watching Two & A Half Men. Well, Luke watched it. But I couldn't get my mind off the kiss. It was magical, unlike many of Luke's kisses. When Luke kisses me, it's passionately but it doesn't feel romantic. I mean, sure, Luke is my boyfriend, I love him to bits, but somehow I just feel like he's not the best kisser. However, when Jai kisses me, they are effortless, romantic and always leave me thinking about it for days. How do I know that it leaves me thinking about it for days? Well.
The first time Jai ever kissed me, back in Year 7, behind the locker rooms. Clichè, right?
It was my first ever kiss, with anyone. And he made it special. I always wanted my first kiss to be special, so when I told him that he immediately kissed me before saying 'Was that special?'
Then, when I was 13 and Jai was 14, we were paired up for a school project and we were at his and Luke's house-Also was the first time I properly met Luke- so he kissed me again just for the hell of it, I suppose.
Both of those kisses left me wondering about it for at least a week.
