At first, you didn't realize what it was actually like dating the Joker. You'd see him running around with Harley Quinn and your heart would swoon – such a Bonnie and Clyde couple! For the life of you, you couldn't understand why she ditched him. But you were happy. Happy you could finally be Bonnie.
Granted, that happiness didn't last very long. You soon realized why Harley left as fast as she could – the Joker is a manipulative, lying, cheating and abusive man. He'd never fail to smack you across the face or punch you in the ribs when something went wrong, not to mention scream at you if you even left the house without giving him a notice. He scared you. And little by little he began to terrorize you since he knew you wanted to leave. The Joker was obsessed with you. Ever since he saw you dancing in his club he was...infatuated. He'd never fail to show you how he nicely carved up someone from your work, and if you refused to look he made you do it. He made you admire him.
When tears started to spill from your eyes he'd lovingly caress your hair, kiss you on the lips and wipe away the salty liquid with his tongue, savoring the taste as if it was the most exquisite desert in Gotham.
You hopped into your car, starting up the engine with a sniffle as you wiped away the tears with your free hand. Your cheek still stung. Hurriedly, searching for your phone you drove into the busy main street and sped through the green light. You had had enough of his bullshit. You had had enough of him. You wanted to feel safe, and the only man that could do that was hard to find. You dialed up Barbara's number – her father is the chief of the police department, he'd let Batman know about the Jokers new girlfriend—
Your life flashed before your eyes as the impact of another car slamming to your side finally hit you. Your vision blurred and tilted, breathing hitched as you froze in your seat, later slamming into your wheel and going out cold.
You woke up to a hum and a very heavy headache. You tried to move, but either your limbs were tied down or completely shattered. You gulped, feeling the cool of the room pick on your skin. The footsteps around you didn't ease your worry, but you didn't dare to open your eyes. "(Name), (Name), (Name)..." You heard the Jokers voice and almost flinched. You left him lean in a brush some strands of (color) hair out your face, "I love you, you know I love you but you...you need to lighten up, kitten." The buzzing of a machine made you snap your eyes open, only to see his smiling face, "Our princess is awake... Shocking!"
