" it's like loving the shadow of a person who never existed. "

You couldn't deny it. Suicide Squad had you obsessed. It was all you really thought of most of the day and once you were home, you spent the evening on tumblr. Probably reading fanfictions, reading head canons, all well listening to the soundtrack on repeat. It was crazy how much it had pulled you in. Probably annoyed your friends too. You sat in the large theatre, no one beside you as you watched the movie. None of your friends had wanted to join in watching the movie again. This was only the third time you'd come to see it but you enjoyed it every time as if it was the first. The theatre was almost empty, aside from a few other people. It was late so it didn't really surprise you. When the movie ended, you watched the few other people leave the theatre. You stayed, watching the credits as you usually did.
"Man, that was a great ending."
Your body tensed as you recognized that voice. You slowly turned your head to face him, "W-What the fuck..."
"Don't look so scared, doll."
He leaned forward in the theatre seat before moving closer to you. He adjusted his silver jacket as he watched you. His green hair glowing in the dim lights of the theatre.
"I-I must be dreaming..."
You don't understand what's going on, this was impossible. He doesn't even exist, he's a character in a movie. The very movie you had just been watching. What the hell was happening. You quickly looked around the theatre, trying to see if there was anyone else who could see this or if you had completely lost your mind.
He placed his finger against your lips, "shhh." That was when you noticed the gun that he had pointed at you. "C'mon, Kitten. We best be leaving..."
You nodded slowly as he grasped your wrist and pulled you to your feet. You barely had enough time to grab your purse before he was pulling you out of theatre and into the lobby. He looked around, seeing the side exit, without wasting any time he pressed the gun against your back and ushered you through the door. It was dark outside and for the most part there were barely any people around.
"Did you drive here?"
You looked over your shoulder at him, for a second not realizing what he had asked.
"Huh?"
"Do you have a car?" He growled.
You nodded quickly and you pointed a shaky finger towards your car. You had expected him to just take your keys and just straight up steal the vehicle. However, he just shoved you forward and made you lead him over. You dug your keys out of your purse quickly, unlocking the doors with the key fob. If you had been smart, you would of tried setting off the alarm but something about the fact that you were 100% certain that he wasn't real made you reconsider.
