"Sweetheart, I know that came as quiet a shock but we can keep her away from you, she won't ever be able to hurt you again" I heard Mrs. Jacobs soft, sweet voice tell me. Her arm tried to pull me into a hug, but I hadn't felt maternal live in years, so I flinched away from her soft touch. "I'm not going to hurt you Cassie, none of us will ever hurt you" she promised me. I don't know what came over me but I felt my body relax as she pulled me into a hug, then another set of arms enclosed us both, Mr. Jacobs. "Your safe here Cassie" he told me, "your safe with us". "Thank you Mr and Mrs. Jacobs" "Sweetie it's Monica and Jerry. Nothing else, we want you as part of this family"
