I got up with a massive headache this morning. I groaned and looked at the time. 6:17.
I felt bile rising up my throat and ran to the bathroom.

"Honey, you okay? You've been puking for about 2 weeks now."
"Uh, y-yeah, I'm fine mom."
"You don't sound too sure about that."
"I am, Mom!"
"Hey, don't have that attitude with me! I am your mother."
"Yeah yeah, sorry gotta go."

When I got to school I saw John standing with some slut and his friends. He just broke up with me yesterday and he already has another slut! He was talking with some of his friends but he seemed too distracted because he was too busy kissing the sluts neck. I got my things from my locker and headed to my first class of the day which I had with John.

"Come on baby. Let's go get one of the good seats in the back so we can make out the whole time." his slut said
I walked into the classroom and sat right beside my best friend Brody. We have been best friends since we were two years old. I always had a crush on him as a little kid and he always liked me too but we didn't ever date.

"Hey Blake!"
"Hey Brody."
"What's the matter?"
"I'll tell you later, but you can't freak out."
"I won't."

When we got to lunch that day, I was starving. I walked in and saw John with that slut Kendall who he was kissing the day I told him about the baby. She was sitting in his lap purring in his ear. I was still so mad at him for saying that our baby was a 'Bastard of a child'. It literally made my blood boil Every time I thought about it.

As the end of the day neared, I was worn out. Finally the bell rang and I was able to leave.

"Hey, what'd you need to tell me?" Brody asked
"Come with me." I said grabbing his hand and pulling him into my car.
"Where are we going?"
"Our secret spot." I stated firmly

Our spot was by the river. It was a huge rock overlooking the entire lake. We spent countless hours sitting here and talking. This was where Brody and I kissed when we were in 8th grade.
We got out of my car and walked over by the rock and climbed on top.

"It's beautiful out here." I said looking over the lake. We hadn't been here in a few years.
"Yeah, I miss coming out here and spending time with you."
"Same."
"So what did you need to tell me?"
"I'm pregnant."
"Oh."
"Yeah"
"I'm guessing with John's baby?"
"Yeah."
"Does he know?"
"Yeah."
"And? Is he helping?"
"No. No he's not. He said he wasn't helping with a bastard of a child. He couldn't raise a baby at 17 but yet I'm 16 and have no choice." I said looking out over the lake trying to not make eye contact with him. I could tell he was disappointed.
"Blake, I'm going to beat the ever living shit out of his sorry ass!"
"It's my fault too, Brody."
"No, for him leaving you. You're a beautiful and smart girl, why would he leave someone like you?"
"I don't know."

When I got home that night, Mom asked me to come in the living room.
"Yeah?"
"You feel any better?"
"Yeah um actually.."
"Thats good."
"I'm pregnant mom."
"Oh"
"Yeah. I'm so sorry mom." I said crying
"Look at me!"
"Yes?"
"Look I should not help you because I didn't help Lillian but if you stay in school and promise to make good grades and go to college I'll help."
"Thank you so much, Mom. That means so much!" I said kissing her cheek.
"You're welcome baby girl. I love you."
"I love you,Mom."
"Who's the father?"
"Johnny Carson."
"Wow, I can't believe you are having a baby with him."
"Me either. When I told him he immediately said he wasn't helping and called it a bastard of a child." I said sadly
"That baby is not a bastard of a child. I hope you know that and never think anything like that, Blake."
"I don't. I'm kind of excited."
"So I have some news." She said
"Okay?"
"You're birth father wants to meet you. You know he left when you were just a baby."
"Oh." I said
"Yeah. You don't have too. I'm just saying. Here's his phone number and e-mail if you decide to talk to him."
"Okay, thanks mom. I'll think about it. I'm gonna go to bed. I'm exhausted."
"Goodnight sweetheart, I love you."
"I love you too, momma."
