-Homecoming

Today I dress up and I did my hair the night before. I was ready. We were going to a pretty hotel to take pictures. Weston comes over and he looks so handsome. But he's not wearing a suit. He's wearing a pink shirt with regular baggy shorts like boys wear. But I told him to wear pink and he did. But he did his hair and he's wearing black and white striped shoes aka Adidas. Oh well. As we drive he is on his phone and I see a PopSocket. It's a blue and white Bob Rock? Bob Ross. That's the name. A white and blue Bob Ross PopSocket. I laugh and realize I still have Zach and I on my PopSocket. I quickly rip it off (which does take time) and I throw it out of the window.  He looks at me. "What was that about Lexy?" He says. "A bug was in my phone and it was so gross," I say whispering. He looks at me and says, "Your whisper is as loud as the Duncan household." We reach the hotel and we take funny pictures. Then when I ask for one serious he just goofs off. Well I'm paying the price all right. His sister, Kalynn, took the pictures since she's not going to homecoming. I don't know why. Oh it's going to be a looooooooong night. As Weston and I hit the dance floor they announce the Homecoming king and queen. I didn't enter. I didn't want to win. But the "queen bee" Emily did enter. As they call the king I hear Weston's name called from the announcer. I didn't know he entered! But then... the worst happened. Emily got called. So Weston and Emily must slow dance for the night. He's my date I'm livid. I run out the auditorium and stand outside crying. Then I hear not Weston... but Zach! I turn around defensively what the? Why is Zach here? "Lex, I made a mistake, me and Amanda didn't go together I want you back," he says. I smile but I don't want him back. I want Weston. "I'm sorry Zach... I can't," I say. I run to find Weston backing away from Emily but Emily is trying to dance and maybe hug him. I see Weston is uncomfortable. I just walk a block to my house.
