Cha Hakyeon, leader and hyung of VIXX suddenly disappeared after an argument with one of the youngest member, Hyuk. That itself was something Hyuk truly blamed himself for. Blaming himself that if he had just shut his mouth that night, his hyung would still be with them, nagging and laughing. Yes, Hakyeon’s nagging voice could be annoying but they were all used to it after living together for years and now that voice is gone and the present of him disappeared, the cheerful atmosphere in the dorm disappeared with him.
The members beg to their manager to let them look for Hakyeon but the manager shook his head.
“It’s too risky. Just continue your schedules like normal, meanwhile the staff in the company will try to look for Hakyeon as soon as possible.” the manager said.
“But what about Hakyeon hyung’s schedule?!” Hyuk shouted in worry.
“We would have to cancel all of his schedule until we can find him and when he comes back by then, then his schedules will continue, but for now just continue your schedules. If any media asked where Hakyeon is at, just tell them that Hakyeon is exhausted due to continuous and heavy schedules that the company granted him a break.”
“But if we can’t find him in a week's time? What then?” Taekwoon ask.
“Then, we tell them what happened.”
The members immediately shouted in protest. If they tell the media of Hakyeon’s disappearance then Hakyeon’s career could be in danger.
“We can’t do nothing about it! If we can’t find him by then, then we need all the help we can get. Hakyeon’s career may be ruined but his being is much more important right now.”
“But it’s hyung’s dream and goal to be on stage...if his career is ruined then he’ll even be more broken than now.” Jaehwan quietly said with his head bowed to the floor.
“I know Jaehwan-ah, but we have to do something if we can’t find him.” the manager said with regret in his voice, “You guys get ready. You all need to practice your dance, your comeback is almost close. Right now, just concentrate on your practices and I’ll try my best to find Hakyeon.”
The members nodded their head and headed to their respective rooms to prepare themselves for their practices that would last for the whole day. Even though the manager had reassure them that he would try his very best to look for Hakyeon, they are still worried that Hakyeon may not be found.
“I just hope you didn’t run away too far Hakyeon. Your members really do care about you even if you don’t see it,” the manager quietly said to himself as he looks out to the view of the city, “wherever you are right now, just be safe.”

“Thank you so much young man.” an old lady said kindly.
“It’s no problem halmeoni. You can’t carry everything by yourself.” Hakyeon kindly replied with a smile.
“Where are you heading right now? How about you stay for awhile and I’ll cook lunch for you as a thank you from me.”
“Oh no halmeoni, you don’t need to do that. Right now I’m heading to a house that I’ll be staying at halmeoni, but I’ll come by later so I can eat your amazing food.”
“Alright young man, but promise me you will come by later.”
“Of course halmeoni. I never break promises, especially you halmeoni.” Hakyeon laugh, “I’ll see you soon halmeoni!”
“Tour Ulleungdo for awhile before coming here!”
Hakyeon laugh and wave goodbye to the halmeoni who owned a little restuarant. Hakyeon finally arrived at the little island of Ulleungdo where he is positive sure no one would know him and even find him. Suddenly he received a text from his phone and fished it out of his pocket. He smiled when he saw the text.
“Yeon-ah, did you arrive safely?”
"Yes, hyung. I arrived about 5 minutes ago.”
“Good. Stay safe Yeon-ah and if you need anything, just tell me.”
“I will hyung. Thank you for what you are doing.”
“I understand you. I was in your shoe once and I know you need time for yourself. When you’re ready, just tell me. It’s your decision Yeon-ah. Remember, to always call me when you need me, understand?”
“I will, hyung. I will.”
Hakyeon looked up after replying and took in the beauty of the ocean and the feeling of cool breeze from the wind. He felt free, he felt free for once and he will enjoy the moments he has before making the decision of whether to go back or not.
