Me and Amira lay sprawled on her bed. We were telling each other about our dates, whilst half watching Keeping up with the Kardashians. I told her I had seen her and Romeo and her at Pizza Hut and she laughed her head off. We had a bowl of our favourite crisps; champagne and elderberry.
"So, what are your true feelings for Jay?" She asked, sticking another crisp into her gob.
"He's amazing. Funny and fit and adorable..."
I could go on all day about what I thought about Jayden, and it would all be positive.
"What about you and Romeo?" I asked.
"Oh, he's the Johnny to my Baby, the Troy to my Gabriella, the Jack to my Rose..." She said laughing. Jayden and Romeo were doing a Muay Thai class later that afternoon, and we were going to watch. Me and Amira loved spending time together, we were more like sisters that cousins. We stuck High School Musical into the DVD player. It was one of our favourite films, and we watched it and sang along until it was time to go to watch our boys.
We walked along the high street and stopped outside the bridal-gown shop to look at the ever-beautiful window display. This week's theme was pastel pink. The bridal gown was white lace with a pink under-netting, and the bridesmaid dresses were short lace, in pink, with short puff sleeves. We gawked outside the shop for 10 minutes, wondering aloud if we would ever get married, then ran to the gym.Jayden's P.O.V
While me and Romeo were waiting for the ongoing class to end, a new girl came through the door. She was blonde, pastey with a pinched face, and dressed in too-tight workout clothes. She went over to Neil, had a quick conversation with him, took her shoes and socks off and scoured the room. Her eyes locked on Romeo. She sashayed over and sat next to him. He was suprised to say the least.
"Hi I'm Ophelia." She said in a fake high-pitched voice. She fiddled with her hair and wound it around her finger.
"Hi" Romeo said, turning away. He was so loyal to Amira. It was admirable. You could see on Orphelia's face that she didn't like the lack of attention. Romeo kept looking at the door, so did I; Amira and Gigi were meant to be coming to watch our Muay Thai class.
We went onto the mats and Orphelia stood closely to Romeo. He looked at me and flicked his eyes to her. We walked away to talk to Aaron. "Why is she so close to me? I don't want to talk to her!" Romeo said.
"I bet she likes you. Amira will kill her if she finds out." I said.
"Ugh. She best not like me. I love Amira." Romeo said. We did the class, but it was over before the girls showed up. We walked off the mats and over to our bags. Orphelia, once again sat next to Romeo. When he stood up, she stood up. She grabbed his arms, and fiercely kissed him on the lips. You could see the disgust on his face, he wasn't kissing back. The gym was silent. The door flew open. Amira and Gigi walked in. Amira saw the Orphelia and Romeo, and tears dropped from her eyes. He pushed her away and wiped his mouth. He saw Amira.
"No, Babe, it's not what it looks like..." He started, but it was too late. She was gone. Across the car park and over the road. I knew where she would go. Her happy place. Gigi and I followed her. Aaron and Toby were trying to calm Romeo down, and Neil was talking angrily at Orphelia.
