After fully preparing the doll, the real work would begin. For the first time in about a week I leave town and look for precious Amanda's house. Not too far, like I said, and I am there in a matter of minutes. What I see was beautiful.

Her house is right on the end of the street with a small alleyway routing beside of it. I almost squeal with joy: "Yes!" I exclaim before I see movement inside the house.

Swiftly, I scamper to the glorious alleyway. With lots of bushes rioting in that small area, I was safely hidden. A woman steps out; she looks to be in her thirties with the same blonde hair as Amanda.

"That must be the mother..." I think to myself.

The woman comes out of the house hurriedly and fumbles the keys into the lock on the door. She has her mobile pushed to her ear. I listen.

"I know, honey," the woman sighs before carrying on: "We'll only be gone for a couple of weeks. Besides, you'll have enough money to last you a month so there's nothing to be worried about. Yes but you know how big this could be for us. Ok. Ok, darling. Yes I know. Ok good Thank you so much for understanding. Ok. Me and your dad will miss you lots. I know you will. Ok. Well, the spare key is underneath the mat as always..."

The key!

This could be a great opportunity for me.

I could barely hide my excitement at that news and, like a child on a long trip who needs the toilet, I can barely wait for her to leave. Luckily, after a few soppy farewells, she clambers into her car and tears down the street.

When she is out of sight, I casually walk up to the mat and slide my hand underneath it. My finger feels something small and cold: the key!

I slip it into the lock and listen to it unlock. I check to see if there are any witnesses. None.

Cautiously, I pull down the door handle...
