That's Jazz :D ~~~~>

The car smelled odd when I got in. I looked over at my brother who was smiling big at me. My hands went immediately to my face. "What? Is there something on my face?" He just laughed at my response.
"No there isn't anything on your face, calm down. It just seemed like my little Jazzy here made a new friend. Although, he looks oddly familiar." He nodded to my window. I looked over and saw Mike rummaging through his backpack for something. I looked back at my brother and shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess you can say that." He just smiled. The smell of the car came into my thoughts again as Evan started driving off. "Okay, where the hell is that smell coming from." Evan quickly glanced over at me and looked back on the road. He is too much of a safe driver.
"It's coming from the glove department. Open it up and check it out." He smiled slowly. "Also, please, just for once can you remember to put on your seat belt?" Evan sighed.
"Maybe one day I'll remember." I quickly buckled up and opened it. There was bags of Taco Bell inside. "You so did not!" I reached over and hugged him. The van swerved a little.
"Whoa! Dude I'm driving here!" He rolled his eyes. "The drinks are in the cup holders behind us."
I got the drinks out from behind and started stuffing my mouth with taco after taco. I looked out the windshield and I saw a sign that said speed limit 50. I glance over at how fast my brother was going. "Dude, I bet grandma can drive better than you. You're going 45! You can easily add another 10 and not get ticketed." I always have this fight with my brother.
"Can you shut up? It doesn't seem like you have you license yet, now does it?"
"Stop rubbing it in. I don't need one yet. I have you, friends, and public transportation." I shrugged. "What else can a girl want?" He just shook his head and we stopped talking. He reached over for a taco without taking his eyes off the road. I sighed, oh well at least I know I won't die with him driving.
"I'm taking a nap; wake me up when we get there." I chugged down the rest of my soda, leaned back, put my feet up on the dash, and closed my eyes.

Dream...
"Jaaaazzzy...pssst Jazz... JAZZ!" I opened my eyes and looked around. I saw a familiar face. Mike was standing in front of me.
"Mike? What's going on? I looked around, there was glowing books everywhere. It seem like we were in a library. Mike quickly picked me up and sat me down on the closest desk.
"Does that matter?" He smirked and moved his face closer to mine. Is he...is he trying to kiss me? His lips came into contact with my neck. "Did you find it?" He whispered. I could feel his hot breath.
"Find...find what?" I finally said. He pulled away and frowned.
"My number. Did you find it?"
"You gave me your number?" I looked at him questioningly. Then out of nowhere these giant elephants came around and random colors were everywhere. I looked everywhere for Mike but, he was nowhere. I began to run as fast as I could away from the stampeding elephants.

I felt someone shaking me violently. "Jazz! Wake up. We're almost there." I heard my brother say. I opened my eyes and looked around. What a weird dream... I shook my hand and saw that the beach was nearby, and I saw our house not to far from it.
I looked over at my brother who seemed tired, his brown hair was in every which way and his green eyes, that looked almost like mine, stared straight at the road ahead, as if they never looked away. Glancing towards his window I saw that we were getting even closer. A grin broke across my face. I quickly rolled down my window, unbuckled my seat belt and put half my body out of it. The air felt nice as opposed to being cramped in a van.
"Get back in here and buckle up! That's illegal!" I heard my brother yell at me from inside. I rolled my eyes but did as he told. I rolled my window back up later when we arrived at our little house. I unbuckled quickly, jumped out, and stretched.
It felt as if I never left home.
"You know the drill." My brother said throwing me the car keys. "Unpack everything and get groceries before the day is over. I'm off to take my nap." He stretched and unlocked the door, closing it behind him. I sighed. Maybe getting a license wouldn’t be that bad. Then I would drive and he would have to do all of this. I opened the door to the back seat and got started.
My back is killing me! How much did Evan pack, his whole house?! I bent down slowly to put on my denim shorts and pulled on a tight tank top. Last thing I need is to get a wrong tan this summer. Last year’s was horrible. I slipped on my flip flops and picked up my messenger bag. I walked over to the table and read over my note to my brother.
Going to get groceries and heading to the beach
~Jazz~
I grabbed the house keys from their hook and headed for the door. I stretched as high as I could, soaking up the sun. It may be a long walk ahead of me, but at least there’s still a nice breeze outside. I sighed. “I might as well get this over with so that way I can make it to the beach before it gets too late.” I mumbled to myself and headed in the direction of the town I grew up in.
