Chapter 23.-Diagnosed

I got to the party away late and was about to call Mia to come meet me at the door but then I see Ryder dragging Mia into the elevator and right when the door is about to close I see her collapse. instantly anger runs through me it's happening again. why does she always get stuck with the abusive ones. I can't let this happen again. I let her get abused once and left her by herself I'm not going to leave her again. without thinking I bolt up the stairs to meet them at the elevator.the only reason I know where it is, is because I've been to all Ryder's parties.

once I got upstairs the elevator does were just closing and I see Mia crying into Ryder's shoulders. I stood there shock for awhile but then the elevator doors slide open, and Ryder walked out with a weak looking Mia in his arms. I hid in a random room before he could see me and saw him take Mia top a random room. when I look back I see something flashing on the ground in front of the door I'm hiding behind. my curiosity got the best of me and quickly grab the flashing thing when I get a good look at it I see that it's a iPhone with a black and white Nike case and a panda sticker on the home button. on the screen I see the caller I.d say mom and a picture Mia's mom. oh so this is Mia's phone. I press the answer button to say hi to her but instead she starts to yell into the phone before I could say anything and what I hear is shocking that I storm out of the room I was hiding in and walk into the room Ryder carried Mia in. shocked and angry and full of pity?.

>>Ryder's P.O.V.<<

"Mia you okay to go back now" I ask her as she walks out of the bathroom. she sighed "yeah and thanks for helping me out of there. and uhm sorry you had to witness that. again." she apologized "it's fine, but do you mind if I ask you why-" my question was cut off by Mia "actually I do mind you asking" she was cut off by someone storming into my room. "Caleb what-" she wasn't able to finish her question because he cut her off though "Mia why didn't you tell me you had PTSD?" Mia's eyes went wide "how did you-" he held her phone up and it showed a recent call from mom. "what is up with people in this town and answering other people's phone" she yelled out in frustration. "Mia why didn't you tell me you have Post traumatic stress" she looks at me for help but I was utterly lost what the he'll is PTSD "Ryder can you please leave me alone with Caleb for awhile?" she asked "um no" I said still confused but I didn't want to leave her alone with an angry Caleb. Mia sighed "Ryder I only asked to be polite but obviously you can't take a hint so let me rephrase that. ryder get the fuck out so I can talk to Caleb." she said angry. I was a little surprised but after a few seconds I nod but before I left I went to my night stand took a small box out and handed it to Mia. "uhm it's a welcome present and apology present all in one" I mumbled a little shyly. I saw a faint smile on her lips "thanks ry" and she went on her tippy toes and kissed my cheek. just this simple kiss made me feel good and giddy.

'you sound like a chick dude' my hea told me. 'shut the fuck up' i growl back at it "what?" aske a comfused looking mia. "nothing just open it" i state "or i can open it when i'm not in the middle something. come to my room after the party but for now take it Kay? and seriously get the fuck out" i just walk out after that making sure i bump into Caleb.

>Mia's P.O.V.<

After Ryder left i felt kind of bad for not opening the present but i had to take care of something first and with that i turn to Caleb and i glare at Caleb feeling of anger go through me. "Why the hell did you answer my phone?" i asked trying to keep calm "i found it in the elevator your mom was calling and i wanted tonsay hi to her and that you dropped your phone but before i could say anything she started yelling about you not taking your PTSD pills" he explained. well i guess i couldn't blame him. he just wanted to say hey to my mom it's not his fault my mom started yelling about my pills I guess. "sorry" I mumble. "why are you sorry?" "I didn't tell you and I yelled at you even though it wasn't your fault that my mom started yelling at you thinking it was me" I explained he chuckled "god Mia you're such an emotional girl sometimes it's not normal" my mouth fell open I felt insulted "you asshole!" i yelled and punched him in the arm "owwww!that hurt! god I forgot how strong you were ill m." he chuckled "but seriously Mia why didn't you tell me you had PTSD?" he said going serious. looked up into his eyes and saw the reason why I didn't like people knowing I had PTSD. I felt the anger bubble up again. "you wanna know why? because I don't want people looking at me like I'm breakable. I don't want people being careful around me like I might break down every time they say or do something wrong. and especially DO NOT WANT TO BE LOOKED AT WITH PITY LIKE THE WAY YOU'RE LOOKING AT ME RIGHT NOW!" I yell at him. "i-i-i-uhm I" "shut up cal don't apologize." he smirked "you're right I shouldn't you should for being a stuck up bitch" instead of getting mad I laughed "shut up idiot and let's go see if we can get drunk together for old time sakes?" he laughed "hell lets get wasted!" I laughed and we made our way back to the party downstairs.

"hey love where'd you wonder off too?" alec asked "I had to uhm-uhh" "like I said alec I had to show Mia something" Ryder said coming behind me. "oh. and who's this" he asked eyeing Caleb I could see the hint of jealousy in his eyes. "aww don't be jealous sweetheart this is my best friend Caleb" I said introducing alec to Caleb. "Caleb this is my boyfriend-" "Alec" Caleb finished for me. "yeah how'd you know you know?" I said "Mia I've visited this town before people here know me already" laughed alec "oh" I said as I felt my cheeks heart up. all three boys chuckled. "mi's where have you been we've all been looking for you wifey" called Liam with Jake, Ned, and belle following behind him. "hey hubby sorry I got caught up with something" I said while walking up to Liam and hugging him. we all talked for a little bit but then Stand by me by Prince Royce started playing all of the sudden me and belle,who's name I was leaha. let out a fan girl squeal. I am in love with Prince Royce so I couldn't help but squeal.(I love him in real life to hehe)

"alec can you dance bachata" "him no sorry love... but Ryder does why don't you dance with him?" without a second thought I grab Ryder and pull him to the dance floor. I also see my new best girlfriend pull Jake to the dance floor.(the song stand by me the Spanish version)

~ A few songs and spiked drinks later ~

"bye sweetheart see ya later" I said as I kissed alec good bye.i would say goodbye to leaha but she was passed out in the back of the cab. the twins were the last to leave the party. once I posed the door I turn to Ryder "holy shit I'm too tired to climb all those stairs. how do you do it when you're dead drunk?" I slurred. Ryder smirked "I take the elevator" "oh" I said as a hiccup escaped my mouth. "ry?" "hmm?" "carry me?" he rolled his eyes but nodded.

I lift Mia up bridal style and instantly her arms go around my neck. her touch sent tingles down my spine. when i get into the elevator i push the secound flor button. there is 5 florrs total in this house but i only showed mia the main floor which is the 2nd floor, the bedroom floor which is the 3rd floor, and the 1st floor is the basement. damn i'll probably gunna have to show her the other two floors soon. my drunk self says, but i know i'll end up forgetting tomorrow. once the elevator doors open i stumble into mia's room "miaaa" i sang "mhh" we're in your room you can let go now." "but i don't wanna" she whined "you have to kitten it's late" "no" she said like a little kid "come on mi's time for bed" she giggled "i like when you call me pet names" i chuckled. "ry if i go to bed can you sleep in my bed wit me" she said i nodded a smile then crossed her face "YAY SLEEPOVER!!!" she squeled. she then let go and i instantly missed her warmth. mia then proceeded to her bed and slip her dress of leaving her in only a blue bra and matching underwear "i like your matching undies kitten" i smirked. mia giggled "ryyyyderrrr stooop" she whined as she layed down and patted the bed next to her i think i was starting to get hard. i was about to climb in but then mia scrunched her cute face. "what?" i asked "you can't sleep in your clothes silly you'll get them all wrinckled" she said getting back up pulling my suit jacket off, and then she started to unbuttoning my dress shirt. okay i am defenetly getting hard now. ' no ryder she's your cousin's girlfriend don't do it' scolded my sober part of me. when i snap out of it i see mia giggling to herself. "what is it?" i slurred feeling my eyelids get heavy "ryry you're hard" she started to giggle again. i look down and see she was right. i was about to say something to her but i see her patting a spot next to her again. without a secound thought i pull my pants down and lay next mia who is in her bra and underwear while i'm in my boxers. once i lay down mia instantly curls up in my arms and falls asleep with in secounds. i watch her sleep. her eyebrows pull together and she frowns when she sleeps. i slowly drift with one last thought: it's going to be a hell of a crazy morning tomorrow.
