IAN POV:

I opened the door to my now shared room. I limped over to my bed and collapsed. Ow! My side was killing me where they kicked me. Those animals.

As soon as I left Mrs Junior's room this afternoon, I had run to fashion club where I worked on my new scarf the whole time. I was almost finished so I asked Ms. Demenyon if I could take it back to my room. Of course she said yes because I'm her favorite.

While I was walking back some of them came and harassed me. They pushed me into some lockers and had a good laugh. Hey! At least this time I didn't say anything I regret. Like that I need to get back to read my fav mag or something stupid. Who am I kidding? It doesn't matter.

Wait a second! Where's Mason? He should have been back before me. Oh man, I hope he's ok.

My thoughts were answered when Mason walked in the door flushed. "Ian, Sorry I'm late!" he said, "I got kinda lost but hell have I got a story for you!" Mason told of his adventure with Amanda. I knew she liked him but I didn't think it was that much.Last time a guy walked into the girls locker room Manders made sure he was expelled.

Mason must have seen my expression, "Can you maybe help me out with her? I know she listens to you so..."

Is he asking me for help? Me? The least popular guy in school helping a charmer like him. That's social suicide! It's even worse because he's my roommate. Well it's his choice, not mine.

"Alright." I said, "I'll help you out."

"Thanks." he patted me on the shoulder and I winced. He looked back concerned. "You ok?"

"No, but I'll live. Can you get me the ice pack from the mini fridge?"

"Sure man. No probs."

I gently put the ice on my bruised side and grabbed my collectors edition Pretty Little Liars magazine. I laid down and started to read.

JAY POV

Straight from Mrs Juniors room, I walked to my bedroom that I share... with Amanda. Luckily she's at cheer practice so I get an hour and a half of peace. I rounded the corner into Delta when some douche ran into me."Sorry." said Mason that new kid.

I looked as he walked off and said "These are the girls' dorms by the way."
He nodded and walked the other way. Ugh! I hate new kids.

I opened the door to my room and swiftly plugged my phone in and hit play. Matt Nakoa's "Wishful Drinking" came on and I started to sing. "Wishful Drinking again last night, can't find peace when you're on my mind..." I love rock/alternative music.

I grabbed my old jansport out and grabbed my black binder. I started to do my Algebra homework. I sat like that for a little while until Amanda came charging in.

"Hey! You'll never guess what happened?" she yelled into her phone. To me she demanded "Turn down that racket so I can talk to Ian."

I looked at her with my signature I don't care face. "Can't you just go there and tell him? He's a couple halls down."

She gave me a ridiculous girly look, "Duh! Because Mason is there. I'm talking to Ian to see what I should do next. I would ask you but you don't care soooo..."

"I would care if I had a nice bone in my body." I said turning the music up even louder.

"Ugh! Shut it up! God! You are sooooooo annoying."

"THE ONLY ANNOYING ONE HERE IS YOU!"

"SURE, PUNK FREAK!"

"YOU HAPPY IM GONNA LEAVE NOW TO DO MY HOMEWORK IN F*****G PEACE!"

"You can't go out." she stated."It's almost dinner time."

"I'm gonna eat early." I said angrily before slamming the door in her face. It's times like these where I wish I had people to talk to. I guess being alone isn't all it's cracked up to be. I slid down the wall and took a seat outside the door. Immediately I saw a hooded figure come out of Victoria's room. The mystery person had a big bag with them and shoved it into the janitors cart.

Oh it's just a janitor. Nothing to worry about. Still. I had a weird feeling about it. Suddenly a short figure appeared out of the room next door. "Hey. Are you ok? I heard the arguing. Do you wanna come in?" asked Molly.

"Sure." I replied half heartedly. Molly bounced up and down. I guess I just made my first friend.
