Heat still burning my cheeks from embarrassment, I furiously walk to the elevator. I can hear Luke shouting towards me, but I ignore it. I just want to forget everything that's happened since last night up until this moment. I want it to slip my mind and be gone forever but I know it won't. I knew I shouldn't have went to that stupid party, it had strife written all over it right as soon as those two girls explained it to me. The weird thing is, is that I truly thought Luke was a decent person. Of course he's not though, his drunk character is more humanely suitable than the normal Luke. I wonder, if he wasn't drunk would he still have saved me from the almost inevitable events that occurred? It's scary to think about...

Collin's unwelcome hands sliding up my shirt, the way the stench of alcohol loitering on his breath hovered inches from my face. When he tossed me on the couch I thought he was going to take me in front of everyone. The crowd would cheer him on, and he would feed off of my fear.

My stomach churns just anticipating it. No matter how big of a bastard Luke is, I owe it to him that I'm still a virgin...Don't laugh at me, I know you're going to.

Floor 7

I live a floor above Luke's apartment, so the trip wasn't that long. Another thought occurs to me..

I put a hand up to my cheek and I feel the thin line where I got scratched all very lightly scabbed up.  How am I going to explain this to my Mom? Hey Mom, I had fun at a party last night where everyone was drunk and I almost got raped. Don't worry though, Luke came to the rescue and I ended up sleeping over at his apartment, but I came home just right now because he told me that I'd have to a slut in order for me to get in his pants. No big deal.

She doesn't even know that I went to the party. I'm just going to have to cross my fingers that she isn't home right now. To my luck, I open the door and no one is here. Thank goodness.

Next Day

As of now I'm still off the hook with my Mom, I just told her that I slept over at Alisha's apartment and I didn't want to call her because I knew she would be asleep. She didn't mind, and propitiously she also didn't notice the scratch because I'd covered it with a little foundation. She's already left for work and I'm going to have to leave soon as well. My shift at McDonald's starts soon.

I brush my brown hair back into a ponytail and apply mascara to my top lashes. I line my top lid with black eyeliner to complete my make up. I slide on my jeans and throw on my white tank top as I go to grab my work shirt the door bell rings. I toss the clothing back on to my bed and approach the door. I turn the knob and standing in front of me is none other than Luke himself.

My hands worked quicker than my mind did and I tried to shut the door on him, but he held the door in it's place.

"Go away." I warn.

"Just hear me out." He pleads.

"I think I've heard what needs to be said."
