*3 weeks later*

If you would of told Josh that he'd be lounging around Tyler Joseph's house in his free time before the death of Pete Wentz, he would of told you you're crazy.

But now, 3 weeks after being thrown into the popular world, that's exactly what's going on.

"Shes acting weird ya know?" Tyler says from where he's pacing the floor. Josh stays on his back as he lays on Tyler's bed eating a piece of liquorish.

"And she turned down my dinner date. Who does that?"

Josh and Tyler have gotten impossibly close, closer than him and Chris if he's honest. Of course he's close with the other players of the basketball/football teams but Tyler has always been one step closer.

Sadly, alongside that comes Josh's unwanted feelings and suspicions. By now he's convinced that Tyler Joseph isn't human. There's just no way.

Right now he's gossiping about his girlfriend and Josh is trying to be supportive but every time he turns his back Josh can't help but stare at his butt and that is a distraction in itself.

"Josh are you listening to me?"

"Huh, yes sorry." Tyler sighs and flops down ontop of him.

"I'm so sad." Josh's heart beats quickly. He can feel Tyler, his breath on his neck and his giggle.

He's so cute I can't

Slowly Tyler leans up, his eyes narrowed.

"You're not though, you're strangely happy." He's looking at Josh accusingly but Josh himself is focusing on something else.

"And how would you know?" Tyler's off of him in a flash, again one of their flirty moments ruined by Josh.

Most of the time when they're closer than a few inches Tyler says something strange, Josh catches it and questions him and Tyler becomes distant again.

Josh's point stands: there's something weird about Tyler.

"Anyways. What should I do?"

"Ask her." Josh suggests and Tyler sighs.

"How do I ask something like that? Oh hi Jenna how are you? Do you still like me? Are you avoiding me?" Josh laughs.

"I think that's fine."

"Yeah but you're also the guy who said 'I don't care how crazy Johnny Depp is, he's still hot'."

"I wasn't lying."

"Didn't say you were."

"Just do it Ty. You're a good looking guy with major skill, she's probably just been in a bad mood recently. Don't stress it." Tyler throws him a soft half smile, the one Josh is convinced his reserved only for him, and nods.

"Okay."

"Cool. Now get over here so I can beat you at Mario Cart."

-

It's a bit later that Josh starts to get worried.

The bags under Tyler's eyes have been there since they started to hang out, a stress line on his perfect skin. He's obviously not sleeping right and is very upset.

He thought that since Petes death he'd of gotten better, but Josh is starting to think it's beyond that.

Tyler's leaning against the headboard of his bed, his knees drawn to his chest as he writes, Josh on his stomach in front of him.

"Stop starring." He mutters around the pencil in his mouth as he uses a big eraser to rid of the mistakes on his paper.

"Are you okay?" Is Josh's response.

"Me? Yeah i'm good." He's looking up at Josh now, his eyes questioning. "Why?"

"You look...tired and stressed." The boy shrugs, looking away. "Come on Ty, tell me."

After a moment of silence Tyler puts his notebook and other supplies on the floor. Josh follows him, sitting in front of him in anticipation.

"I've been having these really bad nightmares." That is not the response Josh was waiting for.

I'm actually a vampire, this is my natural look.

I sale drugs and also consume them that's why I look like a God. Tell Chris to hit me up!

Those are what he was expecting.

"About?" Tyler's face scrunches up.

"I don't want to talk about it. But they've been every night for awhile now and that's why I look like shit." As if.

"Okay. Thanks for telling me." Josh may sound satisfied but he's not. He's dying to know.

"No problem." Tyler's eyes search his intently, a small smile gracing both of their lips. "You're such a pretty guy." He says suddenly and Josh's eyes widen.

"Oh. Thanks."

"You're hair is so brown." The now nervous reck of a boy laughs.

"So is yours."

"But yours is better. Fuller. Curly." Josh literally wants to die, here his crush is, telling him he's pretty.

"Okay but you're like a literal angel."

Once again, the flirting is cut short on the hands of Josh. Tyler's face goes from relaxed and happy to reserved and hard.

"You should probably go. It's almost dark." Josh's eyes widen and he looks away, sadness engulfing him.

"Oh. Okay." He grabs his things and gives a small wave before running down the stairs. He yells a bye the Joseph family and starts down the dirt road that'll lead back to town.

Tyler lives in a big farm house a little ways out of the small city, the church he owns only a few yards away.

What was that? What's his deal? Did Josh go to far? Was he to suggestive?

"Josh!" Said boy turns to find Tyler running up to him, his dog on his trail.

"Yeah?" When he reaches him, Tyler engulfs him in a hug.

His arms fit snugly around Josh's shoulders, the boy's own arms around the basketball players waist.

Josh tucks his head under Tyler's chin almost instinctively. The longer they stay there the tighter Tyler holds him, as if he were trying to mold them together.

It's just then that Josh can swear he hears two heart beats, then only one.

Tyler leaves him with mixed feelings and light hope. Also a new determination to figure the boy out. He's definitely hiding something and Josh is curious as to what it is.
